Bruce Banner

She looked scared, it didn't take a genius to know that, but scared people were dangerous. Perhaps even more dangerous than angry ones sometimes. It's like cornering an injured animal, they'll do anything they can to get free. It's only instinct, for everything that's alive. Bruce watches her with carefully masked curiosity, because in situations like this it's always good to professional. He might as well start out with introductions, even if she didn't seem to be in too much of a state to really care, "My name is Doctor Bruce Banner," he's turning his eyes slightly now from Jax to Bucky, because the man can introduce himself, right? "And this is--" Leaving that wide open there.

Well huh. Who is Bruce talking to that he wants to introduce? That's weird, he doesn't see anybody else around- Oh. Oh. The doctor means him- well. That's pretty ridiculous. He wants him of all people to just- introduce themselves to somebody they clearly are cautious about? He's slowly pulling a look onto Bruce, staying silent, obviously- because the silence isn't awkward for him, god no. He wouldn't even know what to say if he wanted to speak up. He knew he was called Bucky- that's, like, a title he responds to, but he has a handful of those.

Rosemary kept silent the whole ride down on the elevator, once the door opened she was the first to step out. She noticed most of the people where here "Hey looks like Starks missing out." She turned back to say to Steve and Juliet before walking deeper into the room. She noticed Bucky, Bruce at first and looked at Bucky's arm. She was intrigued with it, not being a big nerd so she didn't understand it very much, she was truly astounded. Rosemary quickly looked away, realizing she has been staring at his arm for quite some time. She looked over to Jax and said to the doctor. "Hi, um what's wrong with her?" She said bluntly, she was truly confused because she never saw a fight and she almost looked sick.

Steve nodded flashing a grin to Juliet. "you don't have to be so shy I'm just your average guy" He said putting his arm around her shoulder in one of those side hugs. He than let go and walked off the elevator, the first person he noticed was Bucky (stucky XD) but quickly turned his attention to Bruce as he walked over to the guy talking to the other one in a cell. "Is this...Jax?" He said trying to remember the girls name only hearing it once before.

Jax's eyes widened slightly, her pupils enlarging before getting smaller again, her nerves on edge. The woman swallowed, watching as the older man approached. When he introduced himself she nodded, not replying, knowing her voice would probably waver slightly. The cough in her chest escaped, her body shaking as the cough violently ripped from her chest, her body bending over slightly. After her short, but violent coughing fit ended, a small wince escaped her, eyeing the doctor with a cautious look. She could have cared less for the introductions, she had already met the soldier, but this doctor person was new, her mind, however, was in no state for introductions. Jax held the look of a trapped, cornered, injured animal, something that drove her instincts crazy, wanting to escape this possibly dangerous situation. Her eyes followed Bucky, knowing that the male had weapons on his person, making her nerves further in edge, causing her to fidget and play with the dog tag necklaces that rested on her chest. As the people walked out of the elevator, her nerves only grew, hearing someone question what was wrong with her. It was just a cold, wasn't it?

Okay. Well clearly Bucky didn't pick up on his cues, so he's just letting it go and turning his attention briefly over to the new people. Well, technically they weren't "new", just new to this area. Oh, and then there's a girl that Bruce doesn't recognize asking him about Jax's condition, and all he can do is give a slight, one shouldered shrug, "I haven't had time to really check her over. She seems to be having respiratory problems. I don't think they're anything too serious, but if it escalates anymore it might be something to be worried about," shortness of breath, after all, isn't typically a good thing. Bruce moves his eyes from the new girl to Jax and shuffles forward just a little, not that it helps much, "Are you having any trouble breathing?" Like serious trouble, like an asthmatic might or something.

Phil sighed, shaking his head a bit before looking back at Daniel through the semi-transparent yellow wall. "You use your telekenesis for petty theft, and you were instigating conversation with a known criminal from another world." he said, frowning at him. Oh they knew about his powers. They'd just been ignoring him and hoping he'd turn his life around.

((Ultra, the other cells are down in the basement. Jax is on the second to top floor. XD))

Her eyes went wide as Steve hugged her, and she grinned widely, a light pink blush dusting her cheeks as she walked after him, dazed. He hugged her! She continued to stand like that in stunned silence before she finally snapped out of it and followed everyone else. She stood silently outside the room on the opposite side of the hallway, not wanting to crowd anyone.

Daniel watched confusingly as he saw Phil shake his head. "So what?" Daniel asked. He didn't really see the big deal, how else was he going to get food? It wasn't like he was going to destroy the word with Loki anyways.

Well, obviously this sickly looking thing was useless- if she wasn't going to speak up to say anything about what's up with her. Bucky could literally stand here forever, but it doesn't matter because Bruce is the doctor who might have a lot less patience. Well- not that the soldier would call that patience, more like obedience. But there's noises here- an elevator? Great. And he's naturally going to tense up before quickly jerking a gaze to the side- Oh. Steve. The friend who abandoned him with this scientist. See- now he's shifting a bit to actually watch his, well- friend, is the closest thing he can call him. Who's that chick with him? Whatever, she's inferior anyways. He's just curious if Steve was hurt or not, it's a possibility. Floors are hard, so are walls.

Jax watched the people, recognizing Juliet and the others, although she didn't really remember their names. "It's just cold." She replied softly to Bruce, although her voice was slightly scratchy from the coughing, it held a velvety sound to it. The young woman eyed all the people, wishing she was still on the screen with Daniel instead of these people. "I can breathe fine, a little wheezing but that's it. It's just a cold." Jax repeated, knowing that he probably wouldn't beleive her. However, that was what it was, illnesses affected her much more than the average being, a simple cold could put her in the hospital, and had twice before. Her eyes went back t Bucky, her shoulders slumping in slight relief when she noticed his attention was off of her and on to the blonde man.

Rosemary nodded, realizing how awkward this must be for him. She was a wild free spirit and would literally make a conversation with anybody without feeling awkward or weird. When she nodded it was one of those 'I don't understand anything you just said but okay sure, you do you' nod. "Okay?" She mumbled, all she really knew what to say. She looked to Jax, for not being in a serious condition she looked pretty sickly to Rosemary, but than again she hasn't had anyone in her life long enough for her to seem them sick and terrible looking.

Steve was contemplating whether to go over to Bucky, seeing as Jax and Calibre stole Bruce's attention or talk with Juliet as she waited in the hallway. He decided to go see his friend, just to reassure Bucky. As he walked over he smiled "So how's it been talking with Bruce?" He said trying to make conversation.
