A pleasure? That was a surprise, normally people didn't greet him like that. Of course that specific greeting had become somewhat more common as time went on since he joined the Avengers, so he was getting used to it some. Getting used to shaking people's hands too. He sets his bag aside now as he stands up some to take Juliet's hand. Of course he's kind of curious about her, especially if SHIELD's interested in her, but he's much too polite to ask. He trusts that Coulson would tell him what he was cleared to know, "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Ms. Rain," should he use 'Agent'? Coulson didn't, but still. He does want to give proper respect here.

It was not better- he felt cornered on all sides, even if he has taken up a position of being sucked up against the line of buildings, though he doesn't ever seem to be not edgy, it's worse after he just got cornered by some woman who somehow knew he was a soldier. If there's a tracking device in this arm of his- well. Obviously that isn' going to be good at all. If anything it gives a kick to his paranoia, and now? There's a combat knife tucked tight in his hand, hidden for the most part- it's only for his own comfort.

Jax took out her own knife, flipping the throwing knife as she walked past Bruce, Coulson and Rain. The woman silently prayed that Coulson didn't recognize her, or Bruce. After being involved as a civilian in the alien attack and showing her powers, well, she didn't exactly want to join SHIELD. Jax held her breath, catching her knife with ease every time she flicked it up, showing she was experienced with it.

Phil Coulson & Juliet Rain

Juliet smiled brightly at him, finding his calm and nice demeanor pleasant. Phil smiled softly at the exchane before speaking up again. "I was just going to escort Miss Rain to Stark Tower. Care to join us?" he asked, extending the invitation out to Bruce.

Daniel heard some strange noises behind him where the agents were. Being suspicious he quickly turned around with his pocket knife in hand staring at Jax. Daniel didn't know what to do and he didn't know if Jax was a threat or not so Daniel stood in a battle position, one he learned from a friend who was in the marines. "Who are you?" he asked in a cold voice staring directly at Jax.

Jax watched the male turn around, a brow arched. Her eyes held their usual predatory feral glint to them, "Why does it matter to you?" She questioned coldly, holding her knife now, knowing that they would probably attract the attention of the agents which would be bad for both of them. Her eyes scanned over Daniel's posture, it was marine style, something she was familiar with.

Bruce Banner

Stark Tower? It's been forever since Bruce has been there, and when he was there it wasn't for long at all. Bruce shifted some to look at his bag now before turning his eyes back up to Phil and wringing his hands together in front of him, "Sure, I guess. I suppose there's not much else I can do," there really wasn't, because honestly he could wander the streets some more and try to find a motel or a job, but he doubted he would find either. So now he's just reaching out to grab that bag now and shrug it onto his back some, since his meager belongings were all in this little bag.

Daniel Rowan Mikes
Daniel stood there still in his battle position, holding his knife on his right hand while evaluating the situation. "For all I know you could be an murderer with the knife you're holding" he replied to Jax. He knew he was also carrying a knife but it was for self-protection, he had a reason to have the knife. "You might want to put that away too" he said as he pointed at Bruce, Juliet and Phil. "You should trust me on this one" he said as he slowly stopped his battle position.

Phil Coulson & Juliet Rain

"Good." Phil said, still smiling as he turned around and began to lead the way toward Stark Tower. It had recently been rebuilt after the New York battle, and it was standing out nicely amongst the other buildings.

Juliet jogged to match Coulson's brisk pace. "Uh..." she said, her eyes flirting back to the situation they had left behind them. She had noticed the two people with knives, but Phil didn't seem to be bothered.

"They're being monitored. No need to worry." he said reassuredly, his eyes still fixed ahead of him.

Juliet blinked before she fell back into step with Bruce. "So, Mr. Banner. Have any scientific studies you're working on currently?" she asked randomly, which was her attempt to start a conversation.

Jax sheathed her knife, hiding it on her body. "Trust me, I know." She said softly, but not saying how she knew. The male didn't need to know about how she knew SHIELD. Jax dipped her head down, hiding it from view unless the group looked at her. She didn't exacrly want to be recruited into SHIELD due to her abilities, it wasn't the thing she wanted to do in life. Jax sensed the eyes on her, hearing what Coulson had said. "Great...." She muttered, clearly annoyed at being monitored.
