Tasha thought she heard something, and she blinked a few times and looked around warily, hugging her knees tighter to her chest, "Nate...?" she called out shakly, fearing that it wasn't him and that she just gave herself away. She trembled and burrowed her face into her knees, crying softly.

Nat caught the soft undertone of her voice and looked around, it hadn't really been high enough for him to really hear that well, he sighed as he continued following her scent, hoping it was leading him in the right direction, "Tasha?!" he called again, his voice louder, he bit his lip as he waited to see whether she answered.

Tasha heard her name fully and she lifted her head up quickly and swallowed hard, "Nate!" she called out more louder, her voice laced with worry, fear, and hope.

Nat's mood brightened as he jogged quicker toward where Tasha's voice had come from, as soon as she entered his sight he let out a breath of relief, slowing down, hoping she wasn't going to notice his injured leg which had soaked the lower part of his jeans near his ankle with blood.

Tasha looked up at him shyly, her face tear stained and the color seemed to have drained from her skin from fear. She stayed put though, continuing to hold her knees up to her chest, trying to bite back a sob from escaping her throat.

Nat quickened his pace until he was in front of Tasha and knelt there, "Are you alright?" he asked cautiously, studying her for signs of injuries, worry in his eyes.

Tasha sniffled and nodded shakly, ducking her head down so that she wasn't looking up at him. She tightened her grip on her knees and pressed back against the tree, sniffling quietly.

Nat's frown deepened as he moved to sit down beside her, "You're safe," he reassured Tasha, through he honestly wasn't sure how safe they were out here, especially since the fight with the other werewolf.

Tasha barely even nodded, not really believing him, "Are you alright?" she asked quietly, staring at the ground to avoid eye contact with him.

Nat nodded, then gently and reassuring moved to hug her, "You're safe," he told her again, knowing she must be in shock from the wolf and sighing.
