"He's a hunter by the name of Gaston, the "town hero" as they call him. He has his eyes set on a prize and that "trophy wife" he wants is me..yes he may be handsome but I'd prefer to marry a monster with a pure heart instead of someone handsome with no heart."

She nodded. She was tempted to say something about how at least she had a choice, but held her tongue. A deer and her fawn passed in front of them. Primrose stepped towards them slowly. The deer perked her ears up in fear, then relaxed. She reached out and pet the fawn.

She patted the doe gently. She and her fawn then walked silently back into the trees. Primrose turned back to Belle and laughed gently. "I suppose I do. My stepmother hates it. She says it's only because I'm too gentle."
