"Oh, yeah, sorry about that," Michelle said. "I hadn't really noticed before. I've never had anybody else shoot me before. I'll try to correct for it next time." She was already doing the calculations when a massive, wolf-like monster leaped from the building on on side of them, then landed on the roof of the building on the opposite side, snarled at them, and bounded away. "Looks like we've got ourselves a target," She said. "Follow that wolf!"

She grabbed Cecil's arms. "Cecil. If you want to come to help - I can't allow that." She furrowed her brows.

He giggled childishly.
"I see." He covered his mouth and looked at her slyly.
He shook his head and opened Alistair's fridge. "Hnnnnnnngg." He looked at Maxine, smirking. "I have a question!" He cheered.

"Oh... Ok. Ask it."

He nodded. "Would you," He said, grabbing a cup for a glass of water. He filled it and set the cup on the table. "Be my partner." He grinned. Sure, it was a spur of the moment thing, but it was something he was sure of doing! He took a sip of water and waited patiently, but excitedly.

Max blinked. Well that was sudden. "Yeah... Okay. Uhm, there are some things though. We can't go on missions alone, and I can't be worked to hard."

Maya sighed. "I don't know! But we'll figure it out! I don't want you hurt, Cecil." She placed her hand on his cheek in a mothering way.

He rose a brow and cocked his head to the side. "Why noooot? That's not fair! They should trust me with you!" He grumbled, crossing his arms childishly.

"I think its more of, they dont trust me with you."

He leaned backwards, widening his eyes. "What have I gotten myself into?" He asked her. looking back and fourth. "Are you a deadly weapon or something..??" He asked in a rather sarcastic tone.
