((Zero got to Kat and they are hiding in an abandoned burrow in the roots of a giant oak tree.)

Zero wrapped his wings around Kat as he heard footsteps coming down the path. A shower of dirt and rocks fell on him as a squad of erasers ran past their hiding spot. Come on, where are they? He thought to himself.

Kat felt the dirt landing on them, but was too zoned out to notice it. It was a wonder the erasers hadn't found them because of Kat's, well, cat smell and the irony scent of her blood. The girl was curious though, where were the others? Where was Day?

Winter woke up and stretched her wings. She wore a leather jacket and black skinnies and cinder grey converse. She let her feet dangle of the branch she sat in.
