Mayumi Miyamoto-15-Female-Asexual

First impressions go a long way in how people see one another, and unfortunately for Mayumi this usually means her first impression is the only one she has any opportunity to present. While not hard to get along with if anyone engages her in conversation, she is very quiet and not particularly expressive. Her closest friends rarely see her smile. Or frown. Or make any expression beyond bored disinterest, really. Except in battle, but that is another matter entirely.

Mayumi is fairly small, being only about 5'2 and petite all around. Her eyes are purple and her hair is silver and cut at chin length all the way around. She tends to wear mostly neutral colors when she isn't in uniform, though pink and purple accents can sometimes be seen on her outfits, usually only when her friends insist on it. Another distinguishing thing about her appearance is that her violin almost never leaves her side (even if it is in its case most of the time).

Mayumi's family life wasn't really anything special to note. She is an only child, has as good of a relationship with her parents as one can expect of a typical teenager, and she generally didn't stand out to much of anyone, nor did she feel particularly close to anyone. Except for her childhood best friend, of course. They had always done everything together, and had no secrets... For a while. A year and a half ago, Kiko had suddenly become withdrawn and was obviously stressed, and Mayumi tried to help. But nothing would make her share what had been upsetting her. Six months passed like that, until she couldn't take it and, fearing for her friend's wellbeing, made a contract so that Kiko wouldn't have to face things alone. For the past year Mayumi has been a magical girl fighting at her friend's side.

Her constant practice with her violin seems to have affected her form as a magical girl somewhat, as the bow transforms with her into a functional longbow. Her soul gem is the same color as her eyes. (And the text, for that matter.)
