Glancing up at her, I yawned. "I am a bit tired..." I murmured, laying back and falling asleep.

Karma smiled, "Your welcome. Maybe I cou-" She was cut off by Rue. "Children... I'm not so sure about that. I'm not very good with child- aaaah!" She was suddendly pulled by the arm and whisked down the hall. The sun gave a nice, warm glow to her golden hair and it flew backwards as they ran. Her heels clicked rappidly on the ground and mad her feet ache as her toes were squished tighter and tighter into the front of the shoes. She held up her dress with one hand and tried to free herself from Rue's tight grasp in the other.

"Yeah! They love me!" Rue chuckled and finally letting her go, and skidding to a halt at the stairs and bounding down them happily and running over the the children waiting at the gates. They crowded at her leg and she laughed, talking to a cute little peasant girl that was handing her a flower. the little girl saw Karma too, and ran over, holding up a tiny yellow daisy. "For the princess!" she giggled.

Karma looked down at the girl with a solemn look, then up at the bright, yellow daisy in her hand. She laughed lightheartedly and accepted the flower gracefully. "Thank you little one, I'll accept your flower with pleasure." She smiled and ruffled the little girl's burnette hair.

The little girl smiled and ran back over to Rue and the other kids. "Whoa-whoa!!" Rue laughed as she was knocked of, and the little kids began to tackle into her playfully. "Raaaah!!" Rue play growled and the kids laughed and tried tackling her, but she scooped up three into her arms. "I have you and now I will eat you!!" Rue grinned as more children piled onto her. "aagghh.." she groaned, and muttered, "Truce, Truce.." and the kids laughed. "Do a kartwheel, Rue!!" One chanted and Rue stood up, looking down at her arm, but muttered, "Alright! Just for you all!" but instead of kartwheels using her arms, she did it without using them. "YAAY! Rue, Rue!!" the giggled and a few ran to Karma, and smiled. "Good morning, princess Karma!!" Rue strutted over, dirty, but she was having fun.

I wrapped a blanket over Winter then I cleaned up the rest of the dishes and went to the window and stared out at the police and army men that walked around smoking. I blinked and held myself, "to much blood has been spilled, there is so much suffering."

Karma wanted with, with all her heart, to scold Rue for getting her beautiful dress dirty, but she couldn't. Not infront of these little children. She smiled as a few of the little ones scurried up to her, and tugged playfully on her dress. "Goodmorning Princess Karma!" They said in different ways. "Play with us! Play with us!" They smiled, jumpy and jittery with excitement. Karma sighed, and smiled.
"Oh, alright. But just this once." She told them.
"Yay!" They cheered and giggled happily as Karma picked them up and twirled them in circles.

"P-Princess Karma.." A little blonde girl cried, looking up at her with tears in her eyes, "My brother... he's sick!" she cried.

Karma looked down at her, and set down the child she was twirling. She kneeled down next to the young girl. "What's wrong sweetie? Your brother's sick?"

"He can't move... and he's coughing real bad... and we can't pay fo' a docterr." she bawled, terrified for her brother and grabbed KArma and Rue's hand, dragging them towards her home and entering a tiny hut that was freezing cold with a little boy lying on the bed, no more than three years old, stuck in a fit of coughing. "Oh no.." Rue cried and ran to the boy, examining his fatal condition. "Karma, I'll pay for it! I can't let this boy die!" Rue pleaded, her hand on the boys chest.
