Jayline nodded and smiled. "I wanted to know if you wanted to be friends. So we can officially call ourselves friends." She says, inhaling deeply. Her cheeks flushed and she stared out the window glancing at him. "That.. that came out wrong. Let me restart." She says quickly and turned her head to look at him. She smiled at him and spoke, "Would you like to be friends?" She asked, hoping out a hand and feeling quite childish. She felt the surprised stares of the other students who tired very hard to avoid the boy she now talked to, but it only caused her grin to widen.

Draco seemed to stop a momment, obviously not expecting friendship but fully appreciating it, giving a genuine and rare smile. " yeah, i'd like that. " he felt rather greatful in that moment, having been spoiled his whole life but never liked or loved in a wholesom way by anyone. Now he had a friend, someone who liked him not because of his status or because they could gain anything, but because they actually cared for him in a good way. His spirits were lifted quite a bit by that, and he was excited for the school year like he had been as a child once again.

Heather ignored the girl who offered a spot in the compartment. She actually didn't want to intrude or make a bad impression. Her emotions at the first sight of them probably wouldn't make her come off as a very friendly person. Maybe in a couple minutes. She nervously stoked her higlight and went off to find the trolley lady and get some chocolate frogs.

Jayline stopped ahead of him and turned to look at him. Her cheeks flushed as he smiled and she turned quickly, moving her hair to hide her cheeks. Once her cheeks returned to normal color, she turned to face him and she smiled genuinely. "Great!" She says happily, walking backwards she giggled.
