Luna smiled slightly, "Thank you... It's nothing compared to what you two can do though!"

Stella shrugged, "I wonder..."

Sapphire frowned, "No, leave him alone. He'll just find something else."

Jade clenched her fists.

"He needs to be set straight before he picks on anyone else." Cole folds his arms.

Cambria shrugs. "Sync is the key. And with being droids,we can Sync easily."

Kendal shrugs. "Some days I'd just wish I was flesh and blood for a change."

Jay chuckles.

Stella giggled.

Sapphire frowned, shaking her head.

Luna looked at Kendal, "Why? I think you're perfect just the way you are!"

"Although this city is surrounded by tech, they still treat us like computers." Kendal sighs.

Cambria shakes her head. "I hate that.."

Cole shakes his head, irritated.

Jay smirks.

Stella winked at Jay, "Do you wanna go find her?"

Sapphire sat down against the wall, still feeling really upset.

Luna frowned, "That's not right. You're not computers! And you're not that different..."

[kia.]

"Yeah!" Jay perks up.

Cole growls softly. "I sure hope Lloyd tells them off... Where they heck did he go, anyways?"

Kendal shrugs. "Either way, I still wish somedays I was flesh and blood."

"Oh hey Kendal.." Cambria reached inside her robe pocket and pulled out a heartdrive; Chief's heartdrive. "You dropped it."

Kendal stares at the heartdrive in his sister's hand, the memories flashing through his mind as if they'd happened only a day ago...

Chief turns to Kendal. He'd grown rather fond of the young droid. "Kendal, take this.." The old droid hands him a heart drive. "This thing holds all my memories. And it will continue recording them until the moment my old core gives out. You'll know I'm gone when it loses its gleam.." The old droid smiles weakly. "This is possibly my final goodbye, trooper. Treat your parents and grandfather well. Learn from your mistakes. Grow to be a fine young man."
Kendal looks at the heart drive. It gleams weakly. Tears grew in his eyes. "Okay..." He looks up at the old droid and salutes him. "S-Semper Fi.. Marine."
Chief salutes the boy. "Semper Fi." He smiles and hugs the boy. "Good bye.."

Luna frowned slightly, "Kendal...? Are you ok?"

Sapphire shook her head, "Can we go home now?"

Stella giggled, "Ok! Let's go!"

Kendal sighs shakily, taking the heartdrive out of his sister's hand. He looks at the drive, grief filling his eyes. He'd only watched maybe a year out of the droid's seemingly unlimited life. He hadn't figured out how to fast forward through memories.. He'd always hoped something was hidden within the messages for him to find, but how would the old droid know that just years into the future he'd meet up with his sister, then his sister's friend and son. "This is Chief's heartdrive.... One of the oldest living droids.. Or.. USED to be one of the oldest living droids.."

Cambria frowns softly, regretting returning the drive to him at this moment in time. She'd learned that although the old droid had pushed Kendal around, the two had a strong, nearly inseperable bond. Chief's time had ended shortly after Kendal was built, and the man had been Kendal's parent while Pixal, Zane, and the others dealt with the threat of the hacker. She'd snuck in on various occasions while her brother watched the memories. She'd seen the sad lady and her husband, she'd seen a small bit of a funeral for a young girl.

"No... Unfortunately not yet.." Cole frowns. "I'm going to go talk to Myst." He sets his suitcase down and steps into it, letting the metal suit settle over him before striding off.

"Cool!" Emerald watches his father.

Jay gets up. "Oh wait!" He runs into the bathroom, then runs back out. "The tissues I had up my nose were getting soggy." He laughs.

Stella tilted her head, "Why do you need tissues?"

"Because Jay was an idiot and banged into the wall." Jade murmured.

Stella crossed her arms, "Don't you start this up again! This is a fresh slate! I don't want to be fighting you anymore!" She hissed at the cloaked droid.

Luna nodded, "I see. You knew him? Were you close to him? Is he the reason why your dog is named Cheif?"

Sapphire looked up, "Can I come?"

"She proves a point, I was an idiot and did run into a wall." Jay laughs.

Kendal nods, closing his fingers over the drive. "He was logically my father while Zane and Pixal took care of the hacker. He said he'd die when the hacker did.. Well.. You see how that panned out.. He's dead and we aren't home in the real New Ninjago City.. And then I also lost Jenny and Spritar..."

"That battle did a tough toll on us all, but I think it hit you pretty hard Kendal.. But then, mom and dad were close friends with these droids too." Cambria frowns.

"Sure.. Just.. I don't want you getting hurt if things get ugly." Cole nods, his voice a bit more metallic when coming from the suit's speakers.

"Ohhhh snap. I'm coming too!" Emerald trots over.
