"You think your job is boring now. But, by tomorrow night, you're going to love it."

At the New York Museum of National History, something extraordinary happens every night. It's been a secret between only a select few, ones that are usually night guards. After a while, it was known that the London Museum was having the same 'happenings'. Now, with the Smithsonians and London Museum loaning some exhibits to the New York Museum, there's a surprising amount of activity. This calls for more Night Guards. And no, it's not just to protect all of the precious artifacts on loan from the other two museums. Your first night comes as a great shock, and it takes one man and this girl to get you fully acquainted. Maybe you'll even make friends with some of the exhibits.
Now for the exhibits, especially the ones from the Smithsonian and London Museum, teasing the new guards is the next best thing since getting to know the new exhibits. Pranks, causing trouble, the usual. Although, it's more fun to do around the new guards, as Larry gets annoyed, and Tilly joins along. It's basically all fun and games, oh, and don't forget the dance parties every so often.
But, what exactly is bringing these exhibits to life?
Enter the tablet.

'The Tablet of Ahkmenrah was Ahkmenrah's most prized possession. It was given to him by his father. In the 1950s, the Museum acquired the tablet from the temple of the Pharoah. The tablet has the power to bring all of the exhibits, whether human or animal, to life during the night, but they must return to their places at sunup. Anyone or anything who is outside of the Museum after the sun rises will turn to dust. It's one of the night watchman's duties to make sure that no one (or thing) gets in or out of the Museum. In the sequel, it is revealed reviving dead or inanimate objects is one of the tablet's powers and can be used to open a Gateway to the Underworld since its secondary function is a keypad.'
