Riro walked through the forest, hands in pockets. On his belt were Six Pokeballs, Four un-used. He looked at the ground. "Gib! Gible!" Dagger called. Riro looked up, seeing the Land shark Pokemon looking at something. "What is it girl?" Riro asked, kneeling beside the Dragon-Ground type Pokemon. The Gible seemed to be excited, as it pointed a claw up at a tree. He looked up, his Obisidion black hair moving with his head movements. There, in the tree, in the tallest branch was a Mudkip. Not any Mudkip though. It was Muddly. "Muddly! Get down from there," Riro gasped, jumping to his feet. Muddly blinked at him, tilting his head. "Mud? Mudkip?" The Teenage boy ran a hand through his glossy hair, and grabbed the nearest branch. "Stay here Dagger," Riro said, eyeing the Gible. Dagger nodded. "I'm coming Muddly." He muttered, grabbing another branch, and kicking his shoes against the truck, propelling him up.

Riro grabbed the Mudkip softly, lifting him up. "You shouldn't be up here you know. How did you ev- I don't want to know." He frowned, and Muddly climbed on his head. Riro started to climb down, before something stirred in the leaves. Oh Arceus.... Suddenly a Tailow appeared, beak open to let out a call. The Teenager slid down the truck, placing the Mudkip on the ground, glaring at the Flying type Pokemon. "Kip! Mudkip!" Muddly called, getting into a fighting stance. Riro smiled, and nodded. Dagger hid behind Riro's leg. "Ok! Muddly use Water gun!" He called, pointing at the Tailow. The Mudkip unleashed a stream of water towards the Flying type. The Tailow did get hit, thankfully. Suddenly, the Tailow glowed white behind it, as it dove for Muddly. "Quick dodge it!" Riro ordered. The Mudkip tried to run out of the way, but Muddly got hit. "Use Tackle" He called. Muddly lowed its head, running at the Tailow with full speed, before ramming into it. The wild Pokemon tumbled to the ground. Riro didn't really need a Flying type. But for the second Gym it would come in handy.....
Riro grabbed a Pokeball from his belt, pressing the button making it inlarge. "Pokeball go!" Riro said, tossing the Pokeball close to the Tailow. A red beam of energy sucked the Pokemon inside the ball. Riro crossed his finger, as the Pokeball shook Three times. Then, it didn't anymore. "Alright! We caught a Tailow!" He exclaimed, and Muddly and Dagger jumped up and down. This was actually his first capture, since he got Dagger from his Mom. Riro picked up the Pokeball, and sent the Tailow out. "Tailow!" She cried, folding out its wings. He crouched in front of the Pokemon, smiling. "Hey there," Riro scratched his chin. "Quail." Quail smiled. "Tailow!" Riro checked its moves, using his Pokedex. "Tackle, Wing attack, Quick attack, and Focus energy. Okay, let's go guys!" He called to all three of his Pokemon, making his way through the forest. Quail on his shoulder, Dagger on the other, and Muddly on his head.

Rebecca casually walks around in a forest, near Littleroot Town, when she heard a bit if a commotion, "Muddly! Get down from there," a boy cried out, and from somewhere nearby. Torchic, her fire chick pokemon, chirps at Rebecca before taking off in the direction, "Torchic, wait! Don't go wandering off on your own!" She shouts with a sigh. Looking down at her moonlight pokemon, Umbreon, she smiles, "Come on, let's go get her." She says as Umbreon jumps onto her shoulder. Frowning, she starts to jog as she mumbles to herself, "Lazy..." Torchic, as happy as could be, continues to run until she collides with something, or, someone. Looking up, she sees a boy with very black hair, surrounded by three pokemon, a Gible, Mudkip, and Tailow. Torchic however, being the naive pokemon that she is, chirps happily at the group, twiddling back and forth before eventually falling over.
