Jak walked quietly after Simon, a grin still playing on her lips. She laughed brightly, walking past Simon, though she slowed, waiting for him. "Why thank you." And though the whole time, she attempted to keep a straight face, she failed, laughing brightly once more.

"My pleasure, madam," Simon replied, holding his arm out to her as soon as his feet touched land. After so much experience getting on and off a ship, he didn't even need to find his legs, the transition as smooth as the way he was flirting with his captain. "Now, do you have any business in this fine city of Tortuga? Or may we proceed on to run the errands I have in mind..?"

Jak smiled lightly, taking his arm upon stepping onto the dock after him. In truth, some people would call her oblivious, for she acted as though people didn't flirt with her, or even hate her, but in truth, she always did know, she just chose not to act on it. "I have no true plans, so where ever you wish to go is fine by me." She spoke with a slight laugh behind her voice, a bright smile upon her lips.

Simon's voice shone with laughter as well as they walked through the town. The pirate led the way to a dusty shop, where strange vials and potions fizzed and bubbled around. He grabbed the one he wanted, and, seeing nobody in the store, he left a few gold coins on the counter before strolling out the door with Jak, the dye tucked safely in his shirt. Then, turning, his words rang with a lilt as he explained, "Well miss, I know you might find it hard to believe, but the lushness of my violet hair ain't natural. No, I must buy a special dye to make it this way, I hope you won't find it too disappointing, eh?"

Jak laughed lightly, glancing about, recognizing the area only slightly. Upon entering the store, she glanced about, a tad fascinated by the bubbling vials and odd smelling potions. But her attention turned quickly from the vials to Simon, and she smiled, walking quietly out beside him. Glancing up at Simon's hair she smirked, ruffling his hair slightly with her hand. "Nah, I think I'll live Simon." There was a laugh hidden behind her voice as she spoke and she smiled brightly, glancing once more back at the store entrance before returning her gaze to Simon. "But then again, I figured the possibility of your magnificent hair not being natural." She smirked, "Though I gave you the benefit of a doubt." She laughed lightly, still glancing at Simon.

Simon grinned, glad that Jak was going along with his flirting. Obviously she'd seen him dye his hair before, even though he didn't need to do it often. The purple potion was pretty strong stuff. "Now," he said, "Onto more serious business... I checked the stores just before the fire, and we're pretty well stocked up for the voyage. However, I noticed that we have a bit of spare room on deck for a small chicken coop. If we buy three or four, we should be able to have the luxury of fresh eggs, and, if we can handle a crowing rooster, we'll certainly be able to breed some chickens to eat. Carp indicated that he'd be able to build something no problem. Although, as usual, that's up to you," he smiled as he finished, stopping her in the middle of the street to see what her response would be.

Jak smiled brightly, glancing up at Simon's hair once more, before actually looking him in the eye again. She listened carefully, her thoughts whirling as she processed this thought. "I must say Simon, I'm impressed." She smirked, "But it sounds like a plan to me." She smiled brightly once more, stopping in front of him, ignoring the people that bustled around them.

"Really? You agree?!" Without waiting for a reply Simon scooped her up and swung her around, certain that the pirate reputation just got less scary to the people standing around them: not that he cared. "Let's go!" He exclaimed, holding his hand out to Jak, his eyes shining. Knowing that she might give him a weird look for expecting them to hold hands, he sheepishly and tactfully said, "I was getting tired of holding my arm up, miss. I'm hoping that these conditions will suit you as well?"

Jak laughed brightly as he swung her around, and after a moment of thinking it through, she took his hand lightly. There was still a bright grin playing on her lips, and she couldn't help but laugh when she looked over at the overly happy Simon. "Of course, I wouldn't expect you to hold your arm up the whole time." She smirked, glancing about at the people around her that stared at them as they walked.

Crow sighed, standing up quickly, before glancing at Leia. "Be right back." He smiled, slinging his pack over his shoulder before swiftly climbing to his crows nest. He dropped his stuff into a small, compact, cupboard that Carp had created for him to keep his stuff safe during a storm, and pushed aside the top cover for in case he got caught in the nest during a storm. He swiftly climbed down once more, sitting down once more.

Skye sighed, running her hands over her destroyed desk. I'm so stupid. she thought, her brows furrowing, What was I thinking? Combining those chemicals would never have worked! Shaking her head, Skye ran her hands through her thin, pale blue hair. Folding her arms over her chest, she finally decided to see the carpenter. She straightened her white and red medical clothes and walked out of her office. Her shoes tapped hollowly against the wood A she made her way to the carpenter's work room. The door was shut, so she tapped gently on the door. "Carpenter?" she called softly.
