Family
Keira has both a mother and a father, both from the Northern water tribe.
Her family is well off and high in the social classes and was planing to
marry off Keira to a young man not much older then her. After losing
her water bending her parents took her to the best healers in the northern
tribe. No one could bring her water bending back and with that anger rose
and as she continued to get treatments the anger and frustration built
in her and with that it open the ties to the fire element. She was then
disowned and her parents had a strong baby boy to replace her.

Keira is someone with a wide personality set, She is calm and moves like a water bender at times when fighting but just like the element that has adopted her, she has became more fiery and stubborn. She became more rebellious when she lost her family and left the northern water tribe. She wondered long and wide as she became more of a no man, floating from one city to another. One the way she worked on her new bending ability as she made her way towards the fire nation, she was only fifteen at the time as she wandered from place to place seeking help and guidance. All over the fire nation in two years she had continued to pick up tricks and such.
As she continued wondering she began to think of settling down and finding a place to call home. But on the way to Republic City she came across a older woman selling Fire ferrets, though they where common pets in the fire nation but Kiera needs a companion as she continued her journey to Republic city.
In truths
Keira was never a true water bender, her mother had fell i love with with a younge general from the fire nation and when her mom found out she was to be engaged with her father she told the general she could never see him again taking his ch ild with her and passing her of as her husbands daughter and had people follow her to her classes water bend for her. But then the accident happen where she was messing with the sea lions with friends and fell throw the ice and couldn't water bend her way out like she thought she could. She ended up getting really sick and grew afraid of water. How it was explained to her is how it is written on her form, she never learned the truth.

The only family he knows of is he Parents and his sister who
is still living in the Fire nation and Keira. He had once planed
to merry her mother before her sudden engagement and leaving
him. He had receives a letter years later when Keira discover her
true bending ability and how she had left home but felts as though
he didn't have the right to step into her life all of a sudden. So he
has been watching over her in the shadows the best he can with
out her catching on to what he was doing for her.

Masaru is a very leave headed man and was temper like he daughter. He has been a master for quite some time in the ability to bend fire and has been apart of the council when he stepped down from the Fire nation navy. He joined the Navie when he was 16 and continued to work hard till he became a general at the age of 22, He was 24 when Keira was born and his beloved left him. At the age of 25 he had moved to republic city and became an active member in the community and became the Coulier for the fire nation at the age for 32.
