Venoxys meekly looked up at Seth as she sat up, using her good hand to prop her up. She was terrified of people, but seemed to be fine around him. She nodded a little and held her hand out to the nurse, who took it again.

Nattie went outside and sat on the grass, thinking of love, which no one would to her.

Venoxys watched Seth, staying cringed as the nurse cleaned her hand.

Violet walked over to the dining hall, dodging everyone. She looked down the whole time, hoping no one noticed her scar on her face, which was what bullies picked on her for the majority of the time.
She opened the door, and looked around, trying to find something decent to eat.
She grabbed an apple, the only thing that looked edible, and bit on it once, realizing that it was a brownish color inside. She sighed and tossed it in the garbage, and walked out into the hall.
