((ok.

thanks. I truly needed that.))
Stephan sighed, then stared at the ground and sat back down at the base of the tree, careful to be very wary of his surroundings this time. The wind blew his light brown hair into his face, but he brushed it back with one swift swipe of his hand.
Ethan sat at the base of a tree along the edge of the forest, singing. His dog, Kira, was laying across his lap, sleeping, but still alert. A tiny meow came out of no where and Ethan stopped singing for a moment, trying to figure out where it was coming from. Something move from inside his cloak pocket and he put his hand in, scooping out the tiny kitten he had forgotten about. The poor thing had fallen asleep in his pocket earlier and he had completely neglected that fact just then. "Sorry about that Safra." Ethan said, rubbing the kitten's head, then placing it on the ground. Kira sniffed, then opened her eyes and licked the kitten once, who hissed in protest but did nothing more. He laughed, watching the two, but knowing that they wouldn't harm each other. It seemed that Kira was the only dog that liked cats.
