It's been about twenty-five years since the district of Shiganshina was destroyed, a terrible tragedy that's still recognized. However, the destruction caused by the fearsome titans have only gotten worst. Three fourths of humanity have met their demise, driving the survivors behind the safety of the Wall Sina. The two abandoned walls, Wall Rose and Wall Maria, are nothing but rubble from the powerful hands of titans, pressuring the Stationary Guard to ensure that Wall Sina holds up. Despite the Stationary Guard's hard work, the fate of the survivors weigh on the shoulders of the brave Scouting Legion. Half of the scouts have been sent out into unchartered territory to find a new, titan-free place for humankind to rebuild. The mission has gone on for about three months, and though plenty lives of scouts have been taken, the remaining scouts still can find hope in their hearts.

Back at home, the citizens and government are on the edges of their seats, awaiting the return of the venturing half of the scouts. The other half of the scouts are continuing their usual jobs of going out of the protection of the wall to hunt down titans before they reach the walls, but they have given up on reclaiming infested territory. The stationary guard is keeping the wall sturdy, and the military police is still making sure everything is orderly and that the king remains safe.

► The use of the word 'crap' is allowed, and so is the word hell. However, only use hell sparingly. Anything further or more persistent should be described as 'he began to curse heavily', without actually writing out or mentioning what the words are.

► Write 3+ well written sentences. Not something like 'Sal tripped. He stood up and laughed. It was embarrassing'. I want something more descriptive than that.

► Six characters maximum for each person, preferred if you only have one or two on the traveling scouting legion.

► No offspring of canonical characters or usage of canonical characters- this is OCs only. Reason? Because we aren't quite sure of the fate of these characters, since the series is still going.

► Please try to make your character's pasts as original as possible. I'm okay with a sob-story, but please don't do something like make a past exactly like Eren's and make their personality just like Eren's as well. It defeats the purpose of the acronym "OC".

► No character is invincible. Characters will die, especially characters from both the scout groups, and possibly the stationary guards.

Personality ➳ Many would describe her as an eccentric woman, and I certainly won't argue with that. For someone as experienced and the assigned leader of the adventurers, you'd expect a cold and business-like personality. She's the opposite of that. She's friendly, light-hearted, energetic, and brave. She was given this job for her bravery and boundless energy, something that would last the trip. In combat, she is relentless and tough. Angelika is also very fond of food, and can become crabby if she doesn't eat, and nobody wants a crabby Angelika.

History ➳ Angelika was brought into the world during peaceful times, and lived in this peace for a good four years... But then the titans started attacking the walls. The amount of titan activity escalated and when Angelika was six years of age, it was announced that her mother, a loyal member of the scouts, was killed in a recent mission. Though the Karanese district had been one of the safest for some time, her father constantly vocalized paranoia of their impending doom. The rest of the village thought he was insane, and Angelika was beginning to believe them. At age thirteen, two days after her father passed away of a heart attack, Angie joined the trainees with eagerness to achieve what her mother had, and to help humanity's survival. Three years later, Angie graduated second in her class, but refused to join the military police. She joined the scouts, just like her mother.

personality: Whitney is a very sarcastic and sharp tongued girl who tends to have no care for others feelings. She is very opinionated and will argue until she's blue in the face that she is right. The girl hates to be wrong. She tends not to be the most social person around, though she is fully capable of holding a conversation when needed. Typically she is aggressive and doesn't mind picking a fight with her comrades, though it often ends with her getting in some kind of trouble with the commander. Even with humanity on the verge of extinction, she doesn't show much care in the world. Whit does not take her job seriously at all and would much rather be doing something else than standing guard at the wall to make sure that the titans don't get through. It only fuels her bad temper more than needed. It is rare for the girl to show much kindness or even be gentle with anyone for that matter.
history: Whitney was born in the Ehrmich District within Wall Sina to Alexander and Renee Reid. Her father was a Military Policemen, while her mother worked in one of local markets selling fruits. Often Whitney would go to work with her mother when she was young since she was an only child and could not be left home alone. Her father was rarely around so she was raised mostly by her mother and quickly grew a close bond with her. Her mother would always tell her stories of her own childhood and how she met her father. It was always the same old thing for her. Nothing exciting really happened in her childhood, though while she was in school, the girl was known to pick fights and come home with a black and blue eye. One day when her father was home and she arrived home with a bruised eye, her father told her that she would do well in the military. Believing her father, the girl took up the opportunity to become a trainee though he mother disagreed with it. She failed to rank within the top ten because of her lack of passion and eventually ended up in the Stationary Guard.

personality: Estelle is a very calm girl who tends to have a very laid back attitude. Sometimes she is careless and clumsy, but she makes up for it with her intelligence. She isn't overly weak, though there are plenty that are stronger than her. Most of the time, the girl enjoys reading whatever books she can get her hands on to expand her knowledge. In many ways she doesn't fit in to the typical Military Police stereotype and often she is seen as one of the more friendly and approachable ones. She doesn't try bossing the citizens around or harming them, but rather try to solve the problems they are having peaceful, though she gets scolded for doing so quite often. She is always told that she isn't aggressive enough, but she doesn't see why she should be aggressive when everyone is stressed out over their living situation. Her main goal is to try and help people the best she can in the situation they are currently in.
history: Estelle was born in the capital itself to two very rich parents that were highly respected in the city. She had one older and one younger brother, though she was never close with either of them while she was growing up. Her brother was six years older than her and was always much different than her and eventually he was killed after joining the scouts. Her parents were always against their children joining the military since they always believed they were just fine in the capital in the first place. Her father worked in the court as one of the jurymen while her mother was well known for the clothing she made. The girl was always pamper by her mother, always getting the best things that were available to her. Her life was far from being awful even in such a time of terror. Nothing that happened outside the capital ever seemed to worry them all too much. However, when things began to get worse, she decided to join the military and try to put her skills to use. Her mother argued with her about it and even told her that she would want nothing to do with her if she did go through with it, but the girl did it anyways. Eventually, she ranked within the top ten of her class and joined the Military Police to help protect the king and the citizens the best she could.

personality: Lorraine is a strong-willed and witty young girl. It often is hard to convince her of things because she is known to have a thick skull and tends to live in her own little world. Whatever she thinks is right is exactly what she will do even if it goes against her orders which leads her to often breaking rules and getting into a bit of trouble. In those situations, the girl uses her wits to try to get out of trouble, though it doesn't often work. She is always very determined to to things work and is very willing to protect the ones she loves the most. Putting her life on the line isn't something she is scared of doing and she is more than willing to die to help advance humanity and fight back. Sometimes she cracks jokes about it all, but her sense of humor is rather stale and most people don't laugh at her jokes. However the girl does have quite the imagination and is quite creative with some of the things she says.
history: Lorraine was born within Wall Sina in the Yarckel District. Most of her life she was sheltered from the news of the outside world and knew nothing of what was happening outside of her hometown. Her parents were very protective over her and never wanted her to hear that their lives might be cut short due to titans coming to kill them. When she was younger, she lived a very carefree life and would often play out in the field behind their home by herself. This lead to her have such a big imagination and her creativity. More than often she would pretend that she was different things such as a Princess and go on her own little adventures in her yard. Eventually, the news of the titans was overheard by the girl after the fall of Wall Maria and she was unsure of how to react. All her life she thought she had been safe from such awful things, but for the first time, she was unsure of it all. Her parents tried to tell her it would be alright and nothing was going to come of any of it, but she never believed them when they said so. She began to look into the happens and after finding out the scouts were searching for a new home for them, the girl decided she needed to try and help the military's efforts thus she became a trainee.

personality: Tomas is a serious young man who is extremely determined. He isn't one to have much fun, but is much rather focused on doing his job and doing it right. He is quite awkward when it comes to talking with people and finds it hard to hold a conversation with anyone. Normally he keeps to himself and speaks only when he needs to. Even though he is a bit socially awkward, he tends to be good at working with others and helping out as long as he isn't required to talk. He isn't one to take situations lightly and he always tries to think quickly in bad situations, though he isn't the brightest person around, but he isn't stupid either. He is known from the strength he possess and often uses that to his advantage, but with size he lacks speed which sometimes causes him problems that he has to quickly get out of. The boy tries his best to be friendly when he can, but most of the time he is just intimidating.
history: Tomas was born in the Karanese District within Wall Maria before it fell into the hands of titans. Since the scouts base wasn't too far away from his home, he often saw them when he was young and he always admired their job, especially since his mother was one of them. His mother was his hero and he always looked up to her for her bravery, though she spent a lot of time away since she had her duties as a scout in the first place. His father was a stay a home father and took care of him and his younger sister while they were growing up. However, when the fall of Wall Maria came, he witnessed the horrific scene before his eyes. At the time, his mother had been home and she guided them to the exit before going off to help her comrades fight the oncoming titans. Tomas didn't want to leave without his mother though and rushed out of the crowd of people. His father chased after him, but the boy had managed to get himself picked up by a titan. However, one of the scouts happened to be nearby and saved him. His father though, had been picked up by another nearby titan and eaten in front of his eyes. The scout put him down with the other people and told an older man to make sure he made it through the wall and didn't run back out toward the titans. Eventually he found his younger sister again and the escaped within Wall Sina together. On that day both his parents had died and he had to care for his younger sister, until he decided to train to become a scout himself.

personality: Ilari has always been one that was intelligent and strong which got him his place within the top ten of his graduating year. His intelligence however strays more to a strategical standpoint than anything else and he always seems to know what to do next when in trouble. He is also very level-headed and never lets his comrades see him stressed or in a complete mess, though he does lose it sometimes. He has a strong sense of leadership and he isn't afraid to fight along side his comrades and protect the citizens. The man is very sociable and doesn't mind having a good conversation with whomever is willing to. In many ways he is seen as the best suited to be a leader and one of the top soldiers, though he does lack being able to cope with loss. It is often hard for him to see so many soldiers fall to the hands of titans, but he never stops going. If anything he dreads facing the families of those who have been lost and telling them that their relative is dead. Another thing he lacks is the fact that he is naive to others feelings and tends to be unaware if something it wrong unless he specifically told.
history: Ilari was born in the Trost District along with his twin brother Valtteri. The two were born to a fairly poor family that was just managing to scrap by. His father was one of the officers that worked with the trainees while his mother was a stationary guard squad leader. Most of their money had been spent on raising twins though which was the reason for being so poor. When he was young, his mother spent most of her time at home with him and his twin, making sure that they were alright, though she would often have to leave to take her duty as a guard and the two boys would be home alone or watched by one of her close friends since their father had to help with the trainee classes. However, when the titans broke through Wall Maria, his mother quickly abandoned her position and took her sons to shelter not wanting to lose either of them or have them become orphans at the time. His father however, stayed behind to fight and protect the wall, but failed and ended up dying. Soon their mother was tried for not doing her duties as a soldier and lost her job. The two boys began to do work around the town in order to bring in enough money to feed themselves and their money. Eventually, Ilari got tried of doing such things and decided to become a trainee, leaving his brother to care for their mother. His trainee days were very bland and nothing overly excited happened until he joined the scouts. His skills put him immediately on the radar of the commander and over time he began to climb the ranks until he became the commander.
