" And who was your husband? If you don't mind me asking?" Zuri asked, as if to try and crack her 'code'. She never trusted strangers, especially one who just invite them self in and tell you their life story when you first meet them. She glanced over at Kotaro.

Aito wasn't quite sure about them being similar, so he shrugged it off. He began fiddling with the helm of his shirt, distracting himself with the flimsy fabric.

Kotaro narrowed his eyes as well when Zuri gave him a look. The boy said nothing as he pulled his hands behind his back, one resting on top of the other as he listened.

"His name was Rashid," Ilana said. She could tell that Zuri suspected something, but she wasn't worried. She'd been at this far too long to be found out this early. If Zuri bothered to check, she would find that there was an Ishvalan named Rashid who'd died during the war. She'd also find that he had a wife named Ilana. "He was one of the Ishvalans who managed to stay out of the war." Ilana allowed a trace of bitterness to creep into her voice. "Of course, that didn't stop those state alchemists from razing our home and murdering him."

"....." Zuri stood up, tacking the thing that was under the bed. A fabric back, with about only one thing in it. "I need to go get a few things... mind watching these two?" She asked Ilana, without waiting for her reply she walked out of the room, heading down the stair and out of the house. She paused, glancing around before walking around the house to the back.

Kotaro frowned watching Zuri walk out the room. He sat back down on the bed with a small thud.
"Hm, well someone seems to be in a hurry..." He yawned nonchalantly.

Aito stopped messing with the hem of his shirt and looked at Ilana. Crimson eyes glared down on the girl, almost as if trying to find something.

"Sure thing," Ilana said. When Zuri left, she turned back to the twins. "You know, for being twins," she said, "You aren't all that alike."

"I don't care what they think. I can speak to who ever I want to, and if they have a problem with it, them tough for them!" Miko said stubbornly.

-- '' you have a good heart; I cant say that about many these days.'' the young man actually gave then a rather dazzling smile before pulling fingers through his fringe area to push the hair out of the way. '' don't let anything change that.'' the boy was usually pretty wise and sweet, people just had to watch for certain signs of impending violence. so far there were none.

Kotaro turned, arching an eyebrow.
"Really? What makes you say that?" He questioned, now curious.

Aito looked a bit fazed for a moment before awaiting an answer from Ilana.

Zuri walked to a shed in the back, taking out the item in the back - a key. She unlocked the ahead and stepped inside. She flicked a light on and sighed. "Either she's got some weird power... or is a homunculus... " She whispered to herself. "I can see it in her eyes almost...." She added, staring up at a photo of her father. "We were never a normal hunting family..." She said with a smirk, closing the doors. Pausing for a moment before grabbing a few items and stuffing them into her bag, a few went in her belt loops for easier access.
