Johnathan eyed the pistol warily, nodding a bit. "Yeah. Worked with him a few years in between one sh*tstorm and another." He shrugged, feigning a calm, casual demeanor. "You tend to get close with someone when you work with your life on the line on a day-to-day basis. You kinda have to, if you want the jobs to go off without a hitch." He shook his head.

"That's interesting, Lexi employed Maria and I every time he saw us but he never mentioned his job." He shurgged his voice slightly slurred as he spoke, "Guess that explains all the fancy toys. Either way what we did was illegal" Ruby mumbled the last part, figuring just about everything he and Maria did on Gilgamesh was illegal. "So tell me about yourself. Or am I not high enough on the totem pole for you to tell me?"

Georgia bit his lip when Donut mentioned Momos, "We should probably bury him or something of the likes.. Did you happen to know any religious or cultural beliefs he may have had regarding burial?" He asked softly his voice very quiet and careful not wanting to upset him. "Like in Marie's culture, your mortal body was to be burned exactly 72 hours after your death- or presumed time of death in her case. It was to let your soul finish any businesses it had left in the world or living before you departed into the afterworld." He lightly took Donut's hand and lifted himself up, "Infants had 24 hours.." It wasn't like he enjoyed bringing it up but this was something that had to be dealt with.

Johnathan flinched, and frowned, shaking his head. "No, Michael, it's just-... Painful, still, you know? The Project was a b*tch, the SPARTAN program was just plain f*cked up, sandwiched in between that a bunch of Covenant bullsh*t that left me-" He faltered to a stop, felt his face fall into dispair, shook his head and cleared his throat, willing his face to slip into it's emotionless mask. "But, yeah. Nothing much to tell buy a bunch of bullsh*t, overdramatic sob-stories from yours truly. I was born in March, though. On the Second." He offered a small smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. Or at all, really.

"Sorry for bringing it up.." his voice softened and he placed his helmet on, fully armored is when he felt most comfortable. Even if it was physically uncomfortable. "I was born February 13th" he stated plainly, rubbing the side of his helmet, causing a strange clicking noise each time he stroked a certain spot. "I just don't understand much about.. well anything." He coughed once and straightned his back. "I apologize you had to go through that. It sounds like it was a horrible way to spend your youth."

Donut

Funerals? My face turns into a frown. Funerals....funerals make me sad. Especially if they're for someone...someone I loved. "Um..." I tilt my head, stammer, and stare over at him. "I really...I really don't know..." I squeak softly, looking over at him when he takes my hand and squeezes it to get up. "I, um...I have no idea. Sorry, but...I-I agree." I clutch at his hand and shut my eyes. "We, um...we need to do something. At least honor him if anything."

"It'll be alright. Honoring him is the best thing we can do for him." His gaze softened when he felt Donut clutch his hand, "You know Marie, she told me something that brings me a little comfort. When you were born, the world rejoiced and you cried. When you die, the world will cry as you rejoice. I feel like that means, that even in one's passing they will find comfort." He looked down at Donut and offered a small smile. "It'll be alright. It won't always hurt this much."
