Into the Maze (A TMR RP,Open)

Mikey laughed slightly when he heard Minho. "I thought you were better than listening to Crazy Thomas here," he replied to Minho jokingly. He looked at Thomas and noded slightly as he watched what they were doing. It was actually quite smart. He quickly began to go to work, hoping that this would come up with some result. "He's doing fine, but the other Gladers erupted in questions the moment he spoke," Mikey replied, a small smile on his face again even though there wasn't anything funny going on.


Austin stood in the middle of the group of Gladers, listening to what Newt and Ely were saying. So they really might have found a way out? He glanced around, exchanging a few words with different Gladers before he looked back forward. Even though he didn't even know the full plan yet, he was going with them. No way he was going to stay when there might be a way out.

[Elywin]

Ely nodded at Newt's words. "You guys think it over, but do so quickly. We're likely to leave tonight, when the Grievers are going to be attacking the Glade." she added solemnly. She looked at Newt and said quietly, "Should we head over to where Minho and Thomas are? Maybe they've figured out part of it." she said, slight traces of hope brimming in her eyes.

Newt nodded and gave a small smile despite of what was going on around them "Yea, we should"

Thomas laughed and shook his head "Y'all are gonna thank me later when we see the sunshine" his hands flew around as he finished more and more papers. He glanced over to Mikey and saw he was doing a great job. He looked at Minho to see a small pile of papers beside him "At this rate, we may be able to leave, tonight"

Minho nodded as he continued to work "I wonder what the real world is like" he muttered as the sudden thought hit him

Mikey laughed slightly and nodded as he kept working, moving as fast but as careful as possible. When Thomas said they might be able to leave tonight he felt excitement and nervousness run through him. He wondered what they would find if they were able to get out of the maze. Mikey glanced at Miho and shrugged slightly. "Hopefully it's better than this place," he replied and looked around at all the papers. "Should we check to see if the pattern is working?" Mikey asked.

Minho nodded as he heard Mikey. He laid all his papers beside the boy's pile and looked at Thomas expectantly.

Thomas saw Minho's face and stopped himself from laughing. He looked like a child who was waiting for the candy to be given to him. He went towards them and laid his own paper beside theirs "Alright now watch" he said and his hands flew across the wooden table, arranging papers and frowning in concentration as he worked. After the first row was finished he proceeded to the next

Ely walked with Newt to the Map Room and headed inside. She saw Minho, Thomas, and Mikey all concentrating on something on the table. She glanced at Minho, trying to meet his gaze. "Have you guys found anything yet?" she asked, her voice betraying how hopeful she was.

Minho managed a small laugh "Little Thomas here may be on to something" he said as he watched Thomas arrange the papers.

He stood back and watched as Thomas began to sort the papers and put them into order. He crossed his arms with a smile. "Yeah, he may have actually found something..." he said and looked at Minho, "Why didn't you think of this? Not as smart as you thought?" he added jokingly.

Minho scoffed "I may have been just too lazy to work" he said and winked while he heard Thomas and Newt laugh "Don't laugh" he complained "We all know its true" he went over to Thomas and grabbed the papers he was holding "I can do this myself. You shanks watch and learn from the pro'

Thomas stood back and watched Minho with an amused look "Well?" he said and fought back his laughter

Ely snorted at Minho. She walked up to the table. "Well go on then, shuck-face. Prove it." she said, amusement evident in her voice. She was eager to see what the papers would reveal.
