"Maybe I did catch you off guard, but I guess you just gotta stay more focused. And why would the girls look away from this beautiful face?" Austin said jokingly as he motioned toward himself. He smirked victoriously and crossed his arms over his chest, "I knew I'd win. Even if it did cause half of my hair to be freaking rubbed off," he said as he reached back up and rubbing the top of his head in a fake pout. But his smirk faded quickly and his head snapped to the left when he heard the scream of a Griever, his nervous foot tapping beginning all over again. Man, he hoped the other Gladers would be able to take care of it.

Minho smiled a bit at Marie his eyes having its old glint back
"Im alright geez. As I said before I care for my friends more than myself" he chuckled slightly but his eyes never left the window
There was so much to think and do but little time to act
He felt hopeless already, despite his cheery and annoying attitude. On the inside, he was already losing in his own battle

Newt stationed himself on the west door with Thomas. He sat cross-legged on the grass pulling out some and throwing it away before attacking another patch and repeating the process. He was getting impatient. The anger inside him bubbled and he felt like he was going to burst if he didn't speak anytime soon

Thomas eyed Newt with an eyebrow raised
"Ya know.." he said slowly "Those grass never did anything to you"
Thomas sighed as he got no response from the older boy. He decided to just sit beside Newt and do the same, pulling and throwing away the grass

Avery

Avery jerked up in Analia's arms. Well, something made her jerk up, that is. She was being controlled... probably by WICKED. Kill me. Please. Kill me. She willed for the words to come out, but they didn't. It wouldn't be that easy. The thing controlling her made her jump from Analia's grasp, get up like nothing was happening, and she walked away. "What are you doing, I thought you were hurt?" Avery smiled at the comment Analia made, and said simply "No. Never better, Analia, but you. You. You just think you can be like that... earlier? Just throw some hurtful words at me? Tell me to GO AWAY?!" "Avery, what's wrong with you? Do you need some help? I can bring you to the med-jack hut if you want me to." "JUST GO AWAY ANALIA. Anything familiar about those words? Hurt your feelings?" Avery spit. The real Avery saw the hurt, and she was filled with horror of what she was saying. Shut up! Just kill me WICKED! I don't care... just don't put me through this, she yelled in her mind, to the creators. "GO AWAY, GO AWAY, GO AWAY!" "LEAVE ME ALONE!" "Avery, what's wrong? Seriously." "Shut up Analia. Shut up." Avery answered. I'm so sorry... "Why are you saying that? Look... I'm sorry I said that, but I was in pure pain, mentally. My friend just died, Avery." "You should die to." Analia gasped, and was getting up to leave. "Fine. I don't know what's wrong with you, but whatever." Analia left. The thing was making her follow her. No! Avery didn't know what was in store for today's WICKED's crazy list, but it was going to be something bad...

Mikey frowned, staying in the Homestead and not daring to go outside. Not while it was getting dark out. Though he did look through a window slightly. He heard some yelling, and from what he could tell it was some girls, but he couldn't make out what they were saying. He sighed as his eyes slowly traveled over to Thomas and Newt who were sitting at the west door waiting for something to happen. Mikey looked down, not being able to put his mind at rest. He just kept replaying the scene with Naomi in his head and every time it seemed to be getting a little worse. Mikey huffed and sat down, wishing he wasn't alone.

Analia

Analia felt hurt inside. It had hurt her feelings, to be honest, but she knew it wasn't Avery... it couldn't be. It was obviously... WICKED. Avery had been stung. Pain pierced at Analia's heart, knowing this. She went to get help at the med-jack hut anyway, not hearing Avery following behind her. "I really need help, anyone know how to--" Avery was behind her, and Analia saw the anger on her face. "Avery! What are you doing?!" Analia asked, surprised. "I don't need help!" Avery yelled, and then threw Analia into the wall, and immediately Analia passed out from the pain on her head.

Newt continued pulling the grass while wishing a Griever would appear soon. His mind kept replaying the scene where Naomi died. A sudden thought made him stop. What if her death was all planned? What if they were controlling her when she died? It was possible that Naomi was being controlled...So it meant that...that she never wanted to die in the first place. Newt mentally slapped himself for thinking such things. Naomi chose it and be was sure it was the real Naomi not the fake. But his mind still couldn't get rid of that thought. He was even unaware that Thomas is dozing on his lap.

[*raises hand too* Yeup, I also have school!]
(I forgot where I left Ely, so I'll pretend she's in the med-jack hut watching Minho.)

Ely sat in a chair, tossing a dagger from hand to hand. She occasionally glanced over at Minho. She wondered why no grievers had shown up yet tonight, normally they came earlier. Maybe the creators were doing something else to mess up the Gladers' thoughts.

Logan laughed, shaking his head. " What beautiful face? The only beautiful face I see here is mine," he grinned. "Want me to rub off the other half? It'll look more even and it would be my pleasure," he said jokingly while doing a mock bow. He grinned mischeviously and stood back up, though it was replaced with a frown he realized the grievers hadn't arrived yet.
