Mikey clenched his teeth as the med-jacks finished trying to patch him up. But with how deep and long the gashes were and with how much he was moving it was a lot more difficult to patch up than they had thought. Bandages covered his back and right side as Mikey sat on a cot, his eyes locked on the ground as he thought about, well, anything besides the gashes on him. He thought about what would happen to Thomas, where Newt had gone and if Naomi was ok.

Newt saw Mikey
He went over to him
"Mikey" he said and gently poked him in the arm
"How's it going [bros my names pewdiepie] ?" Newt asked

Mikey looked over when he felt somebody poke his arm and smiled slightly when he saw Newt had returned without a injury. "Well, despite the two gashes on me and being permanently mentally scarred because of that Griever I'm doing just spectacular," he said with a small laugh.

although they both knew that that was a lie.

"Why are you stammering?" He looked at her straight in the eyes
"Tell me again without breaking eye contact" he said with half a smile on his face

Newt laughed and sat on a chair
"You'll get used to it"
His smile faded a bit as he remembered those words Naomi said to him
It makes him sad

"Yeah, that's kind of hard to believe," Mikey replied with a small sigh, rubbing his eyes slightly. "So, what'd The Almighty Leader go out and do?" he asked, his curiosity taking hold again as he looked at Newt.

Newt didn't even bother hiding the truth
"Naomi" he said simply with a shrug
"In the maze.."
He sighed and looked down

Mikey looked at him with surprise, "You found her? Is she okay? Did she get hurt?" he questioned, hoping that Naomi was ok. She did just save Thomas and his life, he hoped that she didn't die in the process. That was the last thing he needed on his mind. But then again, if she was alive how would they know if it was the real Naomi or not?

"She's alright..The real Naomi took over..I don't know about who's controlling her now..She's pretty banged up but she's..alright I guess" Newt debated on wether he should tell Mikey about the stuff Naomi said
He sighed
"There was one thing she said though that made me kinda scared.."
