Nickname/Superhero Name: The Streak Flash
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Power (for metas only): Super-speed, accelerated cell regeneration, accelerated perception and reflexes, superhuman stamina and extreme force generation.
Personality: Barry is a brilliant forensic scientist with great intentions and good morals. Since he got his powers, Barry has been using them to help people and stop criminals, all the while trying to catch his mom's real murderer. Everything but his tongue seems to have super speed as Barry gets caught up on his words quite a bit and is over all socially awkward. He is also notoriously late, even now that he can move hundreds of miles in no time flat.
History: When Barry was 11, his mother was killed in cold blood by a streak of yellow and his father was framed for her murder. After his father was taken off to jail, Barry went to live with his best friend Iris West and her father Joe, staying with them throughout the rest of his childhood. When Barry went off to college, he majored in two fields of science and then later went on to study criminology to help him solve his mother's case. After returning home, Barry joined the police force as a forensic scientist, working with Joe to bring in criminals. Barry was in his office the night that the STAR Labs particle accelerator blew, and as a consequence of the explosion, Barry got stuck by super-charged lightning, sending him into a rack of charged chemicals and then into a coma. When he woke up, Barry discovered that he had super-speed and well, the rest is all kind of a blur.
