" the digital what?" Austin said in confusion and sighed

"I'm Cyrus," Cyrus said. He spread his arms wide again, indicating the world around him. "Every thing you're seeing right now-to the trees, the ground, the sky- all of it is made of data. Ones and Zeroes. It's a world most people will go their whole lives without seeing. This world is populated by creatures called Digimon, like Gaomon here. Well, not exactly like Gaomon, they can be almost any shape and size. Something, I don't know what exactly, chose the three of us and brought us here." He took out his own digivice and showed it to the other two. "These digivices allow us to bond with a Digimon. The protect us, and in return, we help them by making them stronger in battle."

"I wonder what my Digimon looks like...." Carly murmured curiously.

[InfectedHau]

"It could look like anything," Cyrus said. "I'm not quite sure if evolution works the same here as it does in our world, but I've seen some pretty weird stuff. Like that Palmon behind you." He pointed to the vines that had so intrigued the two before.

Carly turned around and smiled. "Woah they're everywhere aren't they?"

Cyrus smiled. "Yep. And they can look like anything. Plants, animals, people- I've even seen a few that look like angels."

"Wow. They all sound amazing. I hope I get to meet my partner soon." Carly said hopefully.

" yeah...im kinda..freaked out right now. Why are we even here?" Austin said

Carly was about to say something when she heard something in the bushes behind them.

Hawkmon poked his head through thr bushes. "Excuse me, I am looking for an Austim." He said, then spotting Austin. "Ah yes there you are." He walked right over to him.

Austin was spoked and looked at hawkmon. " spooky..very spooky, but oddly cool. Yes, im Austin ..how did you know my name?"
