Alek frowned slightly, was it normal for Gilbert's to be this thin? Deciding it was probably just the way he was built, he stepped back, after a final squeeze. "Oh, you're wrong about that. We Hufflepuffs can turn quite nasty. I know for a fact that I will not hesitate to hex a person if they steal my licorice snaps." He smiled, rather glad the grim notes in the conversation had dissolved.

"That I won't do. Don't like licorice." Gilbert gave a soft cuckle, as he looked at the Hufflepuff. "So, Alek, you think I'm Pretty?" He playfully pushed on the other's shoulder.

Alek blushed, his cheeks nows a dark red. He retorted, pushing back at the Ravenclaw, "I think you should go see Madame Pomfrey, you're clearly hearing things."

Gilbert smiled and caught the other's hand. "Come on, is it such a bad thing?" Standing up straight he regained his composer a smirk playing at his lips "considering I am part Veela, it's not surprising the men's eyes linger on me longer than they should. My charm doesn't work on women." He paused blinking "but I would like to get dinner"

Alek flush only intensified, but he interlaced his fingers with Gilbert's. The Ravenclaw was nearly a head taller then him. He mumbled, "Perhaps it isn't." under his breath, before looking up at Gilbert. "And we could do that." Turning briefly to Caelan, he stated, "If you'll excuse us." before drawing Gilbert down the corridor.

When the Hufflepuff's rougher fingers wove thier way between his own slim the albino, could help smirk. Gilbert stumbled when Alek pulled him into motion. His red eyes widened in amusment as he regained his balance. "Alek, slow down. Please, I can't keep up." His face was slightly flushed, the color highly evident against his pale skin.

Alek immediately slowed his pace, apologizing profusely. "Right sorry." Catching sight of the Ravenclaw's face, he added, with a broad grin, "And stop smirking, you twat." He planned on getting something from the Hogwarts kitchens, one of the house elves always managed to slip him something. Having your dorm right next to the kitchens had its perks. After a few seconds, he said, "I still need to give you an annoying nickname." He paused thinking, before musing, "What about Gillyweed?"
