Prelude:
You had been confused when a letter arrived, asking for your aid. It claimed that through one way or another, you accomplished something extraordinary and your help was needed. Curious, you pondered over the situation and decided to answer the call. You seek out a way to get off your world, and upon doing so you find yourself going to a place you never realized existed: the Mysterious Tower.
Entering cautiously, you find a wizened old man waiting for you. He tells you his name is Yen Sid, and he has existed for a very, very long time. He tells you that the age-old legend of the Keyblade War is true, and forces may bring it about once more should efforts not be taken to prevent it. There is nobody catalyzing the conflict this time - the Heartless are taking matters into their own hands because the barriers are weakening.
And this is where you come in. Will you stand against the Heartless to restore the peace? Or will you side against the Light?
I have some basic rules just to keep things flowing:
1 Please use third person to avoid confusion with who is doing what. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER
2 No killing off other peoples characters unless expressly told to.
3 No controlling other peoples characters either, ie making them talk, do some other action besides what their RPer said they did.
4 Pay attention to what goes on in the RP, don't just type whatever you want.
5 Don't "split-screen" RP. When someone types something that influences your character, if there's no way that your character would know then there's no way your character would know.
6 This is a semi-lit, meaning that there is NO CHAT SPEAK and the words have to be spelled mostly right. I won't be a total grammar Nazi, but don't make me want to be one either.
7 Please please have descriptive posts. It make life better for a lot of people because it makes it a lot easier to interact when they have a good idea of what's going on.

The plot takes place a very long time after whatever resolution the games come to. We're talking, like, a century. But since technology runs mainly on magic, it would seem, nothing's changed because that's a tad too complicated. As such, all characters need to be original. (That being said, I'm not doing descendants either because from experience shippers can get dangerous if allowed to roam free with that kind of power. Sorry.)
Acceptable character types are:
Keyblade users (Keeper of Light or Seeker of Darkness, we do need villains. If you are a Keyblade user, seeing as this is - for now - a time of peace, you have received proper training with a Keyblade. Up to you if you want to be a Master or not.)
Nobodies (Not having a new Organization 13 or anything, but I reckon they can still "exist". Still putting the X in their name cause it's fun.)
Supporting characters (à la Donald and Goofy) and if you're set on being a Disney or Square character then go for it. (In regards to the last option, of course, just use ones that haven't been in the games.)

Here is my character:
Name: Xarta
Character's Age: 21
Gender: Female
Description/Pic: Xarta is fairly tall, almost reaching 6'. She has deep blue eyes and long jet black hair cut into bangs that brush the tops of her brows, reaching almost to her waist in the back. She wears fitted black pants that are flexible enough to not impede her in battle, coupled with a light blue tank top. Over this she wears a long black coat reaching mid-calf and with a loose, high collar that partially obscures her chin and mouth. (This serves the same function as the original black coats - as a shield from darkness while using the Corridors.)
Personality: Despite the obvious drawback of not having a heart to have a personality with, she will often act aloof and condescending towards people. Very intelligent and not afraid to use that to make her opponents nervous. She will protect those that earn her good graces with a fierce devotion.
World of Origin: Twilight Town
What are you: Nobody
Weapon: Bow that generates arrows capable of freezing the target upon contact. The bow itself is light blue/lavender shaded with ornate decorations on the end to hold the string in place. When firing, glowing blue wisps seep from the bow until they form a glassy arrow shrouded with the same wisps. (Sounds like a long process, yes, but in reality it happens quite quickly.)
Affinity: Ice
Limit Break: (Catchphrase: CHILL OUT!) Fires several larger arrows into the sky that burst apart into a random "area of effect" attack with ice spikes appearing from each arrow shard after it lands. No final limit.
Brief Description of Somebody:
- Name: Tara
Personality: Reclusive and bookish, she had the aloofness but to a radically milder degree. Designed weapon with the intent of being able to protect herself as she was a wee bit of a fraidy-cat.
Appearance (if different): Wore hair short as a Somebody but otherwise is the same.
