Pierce watched silently sticking close to Jack, curious about how Cyrus would act once he woke up.

Cyrus gasped, squeezing Ender's hand and breathing heavily, looking around. "What - where -" he gulped.

Pierce watched curiously, he still looked a bit worn down but he kept a soft smile trying to at least try being nice.

"Shh, shh, you're okay." Ender said gently. "You're in the infirmary at Camp Halfblood."

Cyrus blinked a few times before settling, losing the deer-in-the-headlights stare.

Pierce wasn't really sure what had happened to Cyrus after he left, so he was a bit curious but didn't pry.

Cyrus frowned sadly when he looked at Pierce. "You don't trust me," he said softly, looking away for a moment. "But that's okay, not a lot of people do." He attempted a smile, but it seemed broken.
