"It's just a ball." Vincent says, reaching for it again. The child comes out, looking terrified. "Have, um, h-have you guys seen Meemah... Ms. Calurusi..." He says with a whimper. He wasn't used to strangers. It was probably obvious that Calurusi had taken him in as her own.

Jeremy kept the ball out of Vincent's reach, then looked down at the child. He stared at the kid for a minute before kneeling down next to him. "No, I haven't seen her for awhile." he said gently. He paused for a minute, then introduced himself. "My name is Jeremy. Who are you?"

The child seemed a bit frightened, shrinking away a little. "I'm Noni..." He says, frowning a bit as he processes the answer. "It's okay... She's not around a lot..." He mutters. Vincent smiles, kneeling as well to try and look at Noni.

Jeremy frowned, pushing Vincent away slightly. "Why isn't she around a lot? Shouldn't she be watching you?" he asked, a bit worried for the boy.

"Yeah, but... Since we got here, she has been either frith ting scary things or helping other people..." Noni says, keeping his head down as he shrugs. "Are you sure you haven't seen her?" He didn't understand the entire healing concept.

Jeremy glanced back at Vincent. He had been the last one to see her. He looked back at the child, shaking his head. "I'm sorry... My, um, friend saw her a little while ago, but she seemed to disappear." he told Noni.

Noni simply looks defeated at this point. "Oh... Okay..." He says, looking off to the side a little. "Um, you can stay here if you want... I'm sure Meemah already told you it was okay..."

"I'm sorry..." Jeremy sighed. "Yes, I think Mike got permission..." he muttered, staring at the child. "Are you hungry? I'm sure I can figure out how to use the kitchen."
