Ashley was born to a loving mother and 'father' she looked a lot like her 'father' but she had her mother's eyes. she was a very happy child who had always been drawn to the sea. as a young child she had always been able to understand sea animals, even telling a shark to leave her alone when she was five. everyone ran away from the water screaming and Ashley's mother had to drag
Ashley out of the water to keep her away from the shark. When Ashley started school she always had the feeling she was being followed, but every time she looked for the follower the feeling disappeared. It grew worse when she was attacked by a Basilisk in fact it killed her pet dog. Ashley cried for weeks over the dog while her parents wondered how the dog had died by being burned. finally when she was 6 years old her mother admitted to Ashley and Ashley's 'Father' that the mother had an affair with a man who lived near the sea and that Ashley had no relationship to the man she called 'dad' Ashley ran to her room, saddened by what her mother had said, but scared because of her father's yelling. her mother later came into the room and told her 6 year old daughter that she would have to leave the house. Ashley was horrified that her mother would do something like that but packed a backpack of things she thought she would need...and of course she had gotten her sea blue teddy bear that had green kelp colored eyes and she walked out the door, not looking back. she wondered for weeks not knowing where to go, but she stayed close to the sea. one day she accidently ran into a fisherman with jet black hair that matched Ashley's perfectly. he smiled down at her, his sea green eyes shimmered warmly at her. Ashley smiled at the man and appolized to him but the man shook his head. "Young Hero there is no need to apolize to me. come we must talk." he said and he began to walk down the shore. Ashley followed clutching her teddy bear to her chest. the man and Ashley talked for what seemed like hours before the man looked up at the sky. "Young Hero I do not want to see you die before your time." The man said as he looked back at Ashley. the man bent down and from the sea he pulled out a celestial gold sword. "τσουνάμι will serve you well." the man told Ashley as he gave her the sword. Ashley expected the sword to be heavy...but instead it was very light. she smiled and looked up at the man. "Thank you!" she said happily. "Now young Hero go north to Manhattan. there will be a camp that will take you and train a eager Hero like yourself." the man said and smiled at her. "Now I must go, my brother does not like me being here any longer." the man said and he began to walk off. Ashley watched him and after she blinked once the man was gone. Ashley decided to d what the man had said and she looked at the long sword. she smiled happily and she began her way from the southern beaches of Florida to the City of Manhattan. she traveled along the sea, somehow she always had gotten food when she desperately needed it. she soon arrived near the camp and she smiled. she hadn't attracted as many monsters as she thought she would since she was still young and she did not have powers nor did she know why she was there. she was just listening to the mysterious sea-man as she called him now. she walked into the camp her blue eyes shimmering brightly as she looked around the camp site. the now 7 year old child was in awe with the camp. she met Mr. D very soon and after that she became a camper of Camp Half-Blood. a week of living with Hermes's cabin she was claimed as Poseidon's child. she was happy about this though and she soon lived alone in Poseidon's cabin. but she did not mind one bit. she then began her new, happy life at Camp Half-Blood.

Ashley is a very bubbly and happy person. in fact she is very childish and loves to have fun and pull pranks. she is a very friendly person and is almost never mean, sad or anything besides happy. she is very smart and strong willed. but never threaten those she considers to be a friend as she Is very protective of them. that is not the best idea if you wish not to get on her bad side. she can be very stubborn and rude when she feels the need to be. she is not afraid to speak her mind if she believe she needs to. she is very mysterious about her past and can come off at times to have a dark, menacing side to her. she is a total Tomboy and she loves to get down and dirty any chance she can.

When Lee gets angry her eyes seem to darken to an almost black and the spark disappears as well, but when she is extreamly happy her eyes are a light sea blue and have an electric spark in them that makes it look like she has drank to much coffee and ate to much sugar.
