Fiona patiently sat in one of the soft, velvety chairs of the party room. While the kids were having fun, playing games and doing some special activities in the Game Room, the employees were hurriedly setting up the table. They scurried around, cheap party hats bouncing on their heads as they carefully placed plastic plates and silverware in front of every chair. They didn't spend very much money on the equipment- hence the cheap-looking, plastic table cloth with obviously originally painted balloons- but the food didn't look as bad. The large, one-layer cake in the middle of the table was dotted with six multi-colored candles. Strawberry. She thought, sniffing the heavy scent of hot, greasy pizza. She didn't really need food, but the pungent smell of oiled pepperoni, strawberry buttercream, and sugary fruit punch was pretty good.
