I followed his eyes, where i saw the shrubbery beneath a tree rustling. I snuck up, but before I could peek Electrike zapped the bush. A Venipede came screeching out, hurriedly trying to escape up the tree "Oh snap, a Venipede! I'm gonna catch it!"

"Electrike, wanna give this a shot?" The hyper pokemon was already wriggling off my shoulder. "Ok, Eelctrike, I choose you!"
Electrike pounced towards the Venipede, Who, seeming to have realized he had been challenged to a battle, stood a little bit taller, trying to seem strong. "You're a confident little fellar, huh?" Ok, Electrike, charge beam! Electrike let loose a small bolt of electricity, knocking the venipede off of his tree trunk. Venipede ran towards Electrike, it's antennae pointed forward and gleaming purple. It impaled the Electrike, giving off little purple bubbles. poison sting, huh... "Electrike, Hidden Power!" the attack hit perfectly, but didn't seem to phase Venipede very much. not very effective..I wonder what type Electricke's hidden power is, anyways.. The bug pokemon used string shot, leaving Electrike writhing on the ground, and tried to make a break for it "Quick! Pokeball, go!" I chucked the ball, and it absorbed the Venipede. one shake.....two shake...come on, come on... "THREE SHAKES! I CAUGHT IT!' I danced around, and dashed for the pokeball.
