Canina sat down on her computer desk chair with a sigh. Despite the fact that she was sad that Equius had to leave, she was glad she had gathered the courage to do what she did. The truth was, however, she had acted on impulse. She had just felt like doing it at the time, and so she basically followed her heart. She smiled slightly to herself, her tooth gleaming in the dim light.

Marcei sat, kneeling in the grass. She waited patiently, loving the faint breeze and the fresh air. She breathed deeply, relishing the way the wind tugged at her hair and sent it twirling. Soon what she had been waiting for arrived. A tiny bird fluttered down beside her and immediately began pecking at the crumbs on the ground. She smiled, watching the creature's twitching, quick movements. Soon another bird had joined them. Slightly larger. Marcei gently held out her hand to the smaller bird, and it paused to nuzzle her hand like a cat. ";t's g00d t0 see y0u aga;n," she murmured to the both of them. They looked up at her as if they understood every word.

Karkat looked on with interest for another moment, then went back down and waited in the kitchen.

Marcei smiled warmly at her little bird friends. She stroked the larger bird's wings with a finger and let out a sigh. Soon they had finished their meal and were flying away. She watched them go, feeling that hollow feeling in her chest that always happened when her birds decided to leave. She stood up and brushed herself off, walking back into the hive and into the kitchen. She smiled at Karkat silently, wondering what they should do.

Equius's face turned a dark shade of indigo blue. Someone just kissed him... A lowblood just kissed him. But... She was different, in an Aradia sort of way. She took command, unless growling under her superiors of course. Equius touched his cheek for a moment, then realized he was sweating an incredibly amount. He stepped out of Canina's hive, heading back to his own. That was when he turned to someone knowledgeable for advice.

Kanaya looked up, started by the sound of her husktop notifying her of an incoming message. She opened up Trollian and was surprised to see Equius wanted to speak with her. She began typing her response.

GA: I Will Do My Best To Provide A Suitable Answer

Equius thought for a minute before replying, taking a deep breath.

He hoped that wouldn't be too obvious or anything. But just in case, he added something at the end.
