After a few minutes, Karkat relaxed and forgot to hide his like for the book.. Not that he really needed to anyway. He leaned against the back of his chair, smiling as he read. He could've played on his computer, which was right in front of him, but nah. Not right now.

Marcei glanced through her contacts on Trollian. She came across a lot of names, but none seemed to be online. She clicked the "Randomly Pester" button, and it ended up with the username carcinoGeneticist.

Karkat looked up, shoved a bookmark in, placed the book hurriedly on the desk, then answered. He inspected the name and the troll's words.

CG: HEY.
CG: GOOD. I GUESS.

Marcei smiled to herself. It was rare that Karkat was actually in a good mood. For now, at least, he seemed to be peaceful.

CG:THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENING OVER HERE.
CG: AS MUCH AS IT IS HARD TO ADMIT, BEING THE COOL LEADER I AM, I'M KINDA GLAD FOR SOMEONE TO TALK TO.

Aegeel sighed and walked out of her hive, she couldn't make any friends for some reason. She started to walk around aimlessly walking around.

Karkat physically shrugged, even though he knew she couldn't see him.

CG: SURE. THAT SOUNDS NICE.
CG: SEE YOU SOON.

Marcei logged out of Trollian. She skipped out of her hive, feeling unusually cheerful.
In about an hour Marcei arrived at Karkat's hive. She knocked on the door, smiling shyly and waiting for him to answer.
