Canina smiled warmly. He was like a little kid when it came to hoofbeasts, and that was absolutely adorable. "&lright, I'll see wh&t I c&n find" she promised, and stood up to walk over to a nearby bookshelf, scanning it for something to read to him. Eventually she came across one of her favorites, Misty of Chincoteague. She took the book down and showed it to Equius. "Wh&t &bout this one?"

Canina smiled softly and sat in the chair she had been sitting in earlier. She began reading. She read him the story in a motherly tone, smiling to herself and glancing at him every once and a while. Soon she was done reading, and she closed the book.
