Trixi frowned and then her muscles stiffened, James' laughter causing her stomach to lurch with an uneasy feeling. Her ears pressed back against her head and then she slowly turned her head to the deer carcass, biting into the thick succulent meat of the deers thigh. Trixi pulled her head back quickly, ripping a large chunk of meat off of the deer, and then threw the meat over to James, the bloody chunk of meat landing at his feet. She sighed under her breath and then laid her head down on her paws, watching James intently.

James lips curled into a cruell smile.He shifted into a wolf in the blink of an eyes.He ravinously bit into the meat.He finsihed it off in a few starved gulps.He sat down,licking the blood off his muzzle.He turned back into a human,looking disgusted.He wiped hsi hand vigerously across his mouth."That's why I rarely shift."He muttered quietly,his golden eyes wide with joy.

Trixi watched in James in amusement and then a smug look crossed her face, her eyes narrowing slightly as she stared at the boy. "You're welcome..." she mumbled under her breath, but she didn't expect a thanks from James, and then she shifted to her human form. Trixi stood and then walked over to the closest tree, slumping down in the shade and leaning her back against the base of the tree. Shadows danced around Trixi's pale face, her eyes glimmering in what light light made it past the thick leaves of the tree, and she effect's made her look rather pretty. Trixi sighed under her breath, not really sure if she should return to guard the deer carcass, and she looked at James.

James gaze drifted between Trixi and the deer.He snorted softly,leaning back on his elbows.He smiled sweetly."You seem to know the forest well."He mummbled,yawning quietly."Do you live here?"He turned his head sywards,his gaze intent on the thick leaves of the swaying trees.

Trixi's eyebrows furrowed, wondering why James wanted to know about her, and then nodded slowly. "Yeah..." she mumbled, not really feeling secure around the stranger, and then she shifted back to her animal form. Trixi curled up into a tight ball, laying her head down on top of her bushy tail, and she glared over at the deer carcass.

A cruel smile spread across jame's face.He turned into his wolf form.He lifted his head,howling loudly.He looked over at Trixi,his golden eyes filled with unmistakable evil.He snarled,pulling his lip back away from his teeth.

Trixi's eyes hardened and then she quickly shifted to her animal form, leaping up into a fighting stance. She snarled at James, her head lowered and her fur bristled up in a threatening display, and her hackles raised.

James smiled,his eyes sparkiling.He morphed back into a human."You distrust me very quickly.You seem to catch on very quickly."

Trixi frowned, her snarl slowly lessening into its normal frown, but she remained on guard and cautious of James. "That wasn't funny!" she growled, settling back down under the shade of the tree, her eyes brimming with rage and anger. Trixi scowled at James and then let out a soft sigh under her breath, thinking the boy rather strange.
