Lance let out another loud hooting noise,his voice going throughtout the forest.He launched hismelf over sevrel other logs.He soon stopped,out of breath.He grinned to himself.The scent of Trixi was close.

Trixi heard James' loud hoots, but she paid them no heed. She sneered slightly, hoping that James wouldn't find her and then she growled lowly to no one in particular. Trixi sighed softly under her breath and then rolled onto her back, staring up through the thick leaves of the tree and up into the serene sky. She frowned and then her expression twisted into a frown, her muscles tensing as a cold breeze blew up against her. Trixi shivered slightly and then shifted to her animal form, but her furry body held no protection from the cold. She whimpered softly under her breath and then curled up into a tight ball, huddling up to keep herself warm.

James shook back hsi blonde hair,his head lifted proudly to feel the crisp breeze.He frowned slightly,a shiver running throughout his body.The blonde shifter shrugged his shoulders,starting to trot through the forest again,making soft noises.

Trixi shuttered violently against the blood-chilling wind, her tremendous trembling could be seen at a far distance. She sighed under her breath and then slowly rose up off the ground, padding out of the shade. Trixi sniffed at the air and then caught a faint whiff of James' scent, her eyes narrowing with anger. She growled loudly under her breath, her angered growl echoing around the forest.

Trixi sneered to herself and then hunkered down beside the deer carcass, mumbling angry curses under her breath. "Oh, if that jerk comes around again..." her voice trailed off, thinking her devious plans to herself as she tried to decide how to chase James away, if he found her.

James shivered,turning into wolf form as fast as he could.He shrugged his shoulders,the rippiling fur around his neck fluffing up.is golden eyes scanned the forest.He lifted his broad brown head into the air,letting out a long low howl.

Trixi's ears flickered up at the sound of a howl, the source was close and she guessed it was James. She narrowed her eyes, trying to resist returning the howl, but it was in her instincts to return the call. Trixi sighed under her breath and then raised her head into the air, letting out a long and eerie howl.
After a few moments, Trixi rose up off the ground and then padded in the direction of which the first howl had originated. She shifted to her human form, wrapping her arms around her chest to keep herself warm. Trixi slowly walked through the forest and it wasn't long before she stood in front of James, glaring down at him with narrow eyes. "What?" she growled between clenched teeth, rubbing the base of her arms.
