"Well it is only cracked, so you could probably get away with it. But you would probably want to get it checked at least." Riya murmered, wondering what the notice said "Why don't you like people helping you when you're injured and stuff?"

[Miko <3]

Rolan shrugged a little and avoided her gaze for a moment. "I've been on my own for a few years before Puppet came along, so I was used to doing plenty of things myself, including just tending to my wounds. I guess I'm just independent in that sense." He rubbed the back of his neck before messing with his wings. "I guess the only person I don't mind treating me is you, though. I trust you with my life."

Riya smilied "I trust you with mine too." She glanced at the notice "What does that say?" She pointed at it, sounding stupid.

[Miko <3]

Rolan shook his head. "I can't read well. I'm not even great at spelling. I haven't gone to school since the 3rd grade." He sighed a little and slouched in his seat, staring at the notice. It wasn't a bunched up mess, but he couldn't read the words.

"Oh." Riya sighed and ate some more fruit before lying down and trying to sleep.

Rolan smiled at Riya when she tried to get some rest. "I'll be right here," he said to her and finished off the last of his apple. "Hopefully you'll have sweeter dreams this time."

"Yup." Mono grinned. This girl amused him greatly and he started to giggle childishly. "Monotone's no gang name. It's MY name, silly!" He laughed.

"Oh." Nil said, dropping down into the chair. "You don't have to tell me if you don't wanna."

{I'm back!}'

Peregrine looked at Mono strangely, beginning to feel really quite frightened. "Oookay then," she said, taking a hesitant step back. She stood there feeling rather awkward and anxious. "Um, well I guess I should be heading into town then," she said, clutching her backpack tighter and taking another step back.

Darcy appeared to hesitate, silent for a time as she stared down into the face of her open palm. Her fingers twitched impulsively, wanting so badly to cling onto to a blade, so that she might bleed her misery away. "They didn't believe me," she whispered, barely audible. "She didn't believe me when I told her what he was doing. He just told her I was lying. She believed him." Darcy paid no mind to the fact that she wasn't making a word of sense; she was lost in dark and distant memories.

[Dradogo]

"Oh. Right." Mono took a step back and straightened up. "You might wanna watch out for my twin and friend though. They're planning on killing you. I just came to find out who you were. I don't want you to die."

Nil sat still, listening to Darcy. She was worried, and for a moment, considered calling a nurse.

Riya gripped the sheets tighter around her, trying to keep warm. She started to drift off and relax.

Peregrine stared at Mono, looking utterly befuddled. She shook her head of the confusing thoughts and looked at him skeptically. "Excuse me - what?" she asked him. "Your... twin and friend want to kill me?" she asked incredulously.

Darcy fell silent again, her eyes lost and far away. "Mr. Johnson was just like my mom," she said quietly, more to herself than to Nil. "All he would do was get drunk. He didn't care for the kids he kept; he just wanted that montly check that always came in the mail." Darcy shrank further into herself, staring at her palm as if it were the face of Mr. Johnson himself, her eyes wide and fearful. "He would do awful things when he was drunk," she said in a hushed whisper.
