Rolan nodded as he moved to the shore again. "Alright. I'll try to keep that in mind." Keeping his head above the surface sounded pretty good right now. His throat was somewhat sore from the coughing. He pushed off the edge and tried to keep his head above the water as he kicked his feet and swam along.

"Keep your body upright, don't let your feet bend down to the bottom. Otherwise you won't swim as fast. When you're ready we'll try in deeper water." Riya said.

Rolan nodded slightly and corrected his composure. "Alright," he muttered and was soon swimming the correct way. He swam like that for a moment and soon stood up. "Do you think I could use my wings to help move me through the water? The bones aren't hollow like yours, so they're a bit more sturdy, I believe."

"Yes, you could. I sometimes use mine to change direction quickly or stop." Riya said "Sometimes flapping them occassionaly gives you a quick burst of speed. It can give your legs a rest as well."

Darcy shrugged. "Nope. Not really." But once she said it, Darcy realized that she didn't actually mind talking to Gwen, even if she was DID. Darcy was surprised at the fact that she actually did enjoy talking to someone.
