Roman nodded lightly, "I'd just rather this war end quickly..." he squeezed Tucker's hand lightly with a sigh.

Tucker squeezed his hand back.
"Oh, the Erudite have done this before. We just bide our time until they surrender." Adrianne smiled.

"I'm just hoping they don't try something..." Roman muttered lightly.

Tucker closed his eyes for a moment. "I just wish Hunter were here," he said softly, flexing his fingers slightly.
Adrianne looked at Roman, and with an almost unnoticeable wink, she nodded on Tucker's behalf.

Roman looked at her a bit confused before looking at Tucker, holding onto his hand lightly.

Tucker closed his eyes, leaning against Roman with a gentle shudder.

Roman looked at Tucker lightly before blushing slightly.

Adrianne smiled softly at the scene. "How'd that happen?" She asked, aimed at Roman and gesturing to his clothing.

"Uh.... by trying to act like a hero..." Roman replied as he rubbed the back of his head with his free hand.

Adrianne smiled a little. "You'll need something other than the bandages they give you." She said.
