After 'shadow-traveling' to her apartment, Aori changed out of her hero costume and walked to the bathroom, wrapping her arm to stop the bleeding. She looked into the mirror, her eyebrows furrowing. Just what was the falcon really after? And why was he an anti-hero? These thoughts clouded her mind as she took the long extensions out of her hair, leaving it at its real length, falling just above the small of her back.

After a while of moving his way through the city he finally arrived at the abandoned building. He came to small, hidden door that was on the ground and pulled it open. He lowered himself onto it, climbing down a ladder, and dropping down into a rather large room that he had constructed under the building. He limped over to a chair before slouching down into it, his ankle ripping with pain and making his hands shake. He pulled a small knife off of a table and lifted his ankle up to him. He clenched his teeth and began wedging the bullet out, his breath a bit shaky by the time he finally got it out. He quickly threw the bullet out and cleaned up the wound before wrapping it up. Well, that hurt and he still had to take care of his shoulder. The only problem with that was that he couldn't see his right shoulder at all, and he didn't have mirrors. Johnny sighed, not sure if he should just leave it alone or not.

((Ah! really? That's ironic! Aori is 16--and I imagined her turning 17 soon as well. Then does that mean they both go to Gotham High?))

The teal haired girl looked up, startled that she heard a knock on her door. The neighbors around her apartment we're always watching out for her, considering her parents were killed in a robbery quite a few years back. They used to be the owners of the jewelry store, shaky business especially considering all the crime in Gotham. Ever since then she's been sold the jewelry store, games ton of money, and bought her own apartment. Neighbors were incredibly nice for watching out for her, but sometime she felt like they took that job the little bit too seriously. Making sure her shoulder was wrapped up in the wanted not reopened, she walked to the door and open it to find her neighbor to the right, an older woman of about 50.

"Deary I heard you inside, and thought I'd come over and say hello." she said, smiling at her with closed eyes. The woman gasped in shock when she opened her eyes and saw Aori's shoulder all wrapped up, the blood and bleeding through the bandages is slightly. "Oh Lord, whatever did you do?"

He sighed as he started changing clothes, getting into some normal clothes, taking his yellow eye contacts out and yawning slightly. His shoulder still stung, but he couldn't do anything about it. It sure felt bad but he wasn't sure if it was visibly hurt. Johnny laid down on a couch and yawned again, growing tired. Plus he had school. For some reason Bruce had not pulled him out of the school. He thought that Bruce would have stopped caring about him but apparently not. So, he did try to go to school. It was a little hard but he didn't want to completely throw his education away.

((XD that's funny. They probably don't know each other very well then. At school, Aori changes personalities and plays it innocent and shy.... Plus her hair isn't that incredibly freaking long as it is when she's a super hero))

Aori shook her head, trying to ease the older woman's fears. "I just accidentally shattered my mirror the other day, and when replacing it the wound opened, thank you for the concern though. Everything's fine! Really!" she said, trying to explain to the woman that she did not need any help from the orher neighbors. It took a bit more convincing, but finally she went away, (no doubt to gossip with her friends about Aori's injury). The tealette sighed in moderate relief, walking over to her bed and falling asleep, not bothering to eat dinner because of how sore she was.

His eyes flashed open, some panic spreading through him as his alarm suddenly went off. He quickly reached over and slapped off his alarm. Monday... he thought irritably. He stood up, not feeling so great. His shoulder was all messed up with a gash in it and his ankle was still burning. But, he still felt the need to go to school. He changed clothes, got something to eat really quick and grabbed his backpack with a deep sigh. He climbed up the ladder up to the abandoned building and limped out of it. But of course he was completely unaware that his shoulder was still bleeding slightly. He walked down the street to school, luckily he wasn't to far away. He refused to take a bus, didn't like bikes and he never exactly got a drivers license. So walking was his choice. After a while he arrived at school, his head tilted to the right so he could see his surroundings with his left eye better. Johnny walked into the school, heading straight toward his locker.

Aori walked to her locker quietly, over-the-shoulder bag slung in place and her fingers jammed into the pockets of her jeans. Of course, she was quiet, but that didn't mean the presession of peeps behind her were. A few threw wads of paper at her while others just laughed and gossiped about her right there, and none to quietly either. "Oh my god, do you see what she's wearing?! That hoodie with those jeans? Ew!" one laughed, the others immediately agreeing.

The tealette wanted to nothing more than to fling some shadows at their throats and silence them right then and there, but she was a hero, and that wasn't what heroes did. Getting to her locker, she opened it only to have it slammed on her hands. She whirled around with a scowl on her face, hissing slightly at the pain as one of the ring leaders smirked at her. "What are you gunna do, freak? Rub off your depressing attitude on me?" she asked sarcastically, and Aori rolled her eyes, turning back around and trying to ignore them.

((Geez... I just wrote that off the top of my head. She's got it rough xD))

He opened up his locker, going through it to try and find some papers. He looked over when he heard the trouble going on with Aori. He watched for a couple seconds with a frown. Johnny personally did have some problems with kids just because he never talked to anybody, but he could handle himself fine. Once he found the papers he shoved them into his backpack and casually started to walk over to Aori and the girl. He would try and take care of this, even if the person causing the problem was a girl. When he reached them he suddenly made a quick movement, grabbing onto the ring leaders arm and twisting it back behind her before forcing her away from Aori, "I suggest you keep moving on down the hallway without bothering her unless if you want your shoulder dislocated," he said, wincing a bit as he strained his injured shoulder.

Aori's eyes widened in surprise at her unexpected savior, not expecting Johnny of all people to come to her rescue. Now, she didn't truly who he was, but she had him in a few different classes together. The ring leader of Aori's tormentors gasped in pain as her arm was twisted behind her back. Somehow, she managed to wriggle out of Johnny's hands, and she sent a heated glare at him, and then Aori, before storming away with her little followers surrounding her like a pack. A pack of rabid teenage preps, that is.

Once they were gone, Aori let out a sigh of relief that she didn't know she had been holding. Grabbing her books and putting her bag away quickly, she closed her locker and looked down at her books, a wad of paper that had been stuck in her hair falling on the floor. The tealette picked it up and scowled at it, but her expression turned a bit softer when she looked back at Johnny timidly. "A-Ah, thank you very much..." she said softly, making eye contact with him for little more than second before looking back down. She only wished she could feel as confident as she was in the suit, as when she was out of the suit.

He watched the girl walk off before hearing Aori. He faced her with his left side so he could get a better look at her. He nodded slightly, "It's no big deal, it happens to me too.. I don't like those girls anyways too," he replied, "Are you okay?" Johnny asked, rubbing his shoulder slightly and keeping weight off his bad ankle. Johnny sighed, feeling a bit awkward. He knew that she didn't know him, but he felt like he should jump in. But now it was just kind of weird. He had never really bothered with things like this before, but with being angered by yesterday and the pain in his shoulder plus his ankle he wasn't in the mood to just watch some kid get pushed around.
