He frowned, not knowing what to do. He didn't know how to stop something that could just ignore bullets. He lowered his gun slightly as he looked at Jinx, "Wait, stop. How about a deal? You give Aori her soul back, and I'll let you have mine, or I'll work for you and The Joker and do whatever you want me to do," he said quickly as he took in a deep breath when he felt a pained feeling inside him. Aori didn't want to have him lose his soul, or have to work for the Joker, because both scenarios were terrible. Johnny was a lot more capable than she was, and she knew that if he sold his soul to the Joker, it would be a hard time getting out.

He saw the note and thought for a moment before writing back with a smirk on his face. This was an interesting turn of events indeed. He didn't quite expect for the anti hero to stick up for a hero like Aori.

He will work for us, but I do believe that some double crossing is in order. Take all of her soul and then promise to give it back if he can prove he's loyal to our cause.

Kageneko emerged from the shadows upon hearing the yet unknown male offer his soul in trade. Having a soul taken didn't require a deal. No, it required his brand of justice. A brand of justice that only those in the League of Assassins could dish out. "I have a better offer. Why don't you return that girl's soul? In return, I'll let you leave with your life, mongrel. It's my final offer, and it's only open for the next thirty seconds. Take it or leave it, the choice is yours." If one could describe Kageneko's voice, they would likely compare it to a cold winter morning. Though it may sound warm, there was obviously a lack of emotion behind it that left a cold feeling in the air. There seemed to be a constant wave of killing intent flowing from him that would likely give away his profression. Kageneko didn't profess to be a good man, but he did profess to be a just man. He'd made a fair offer for a person's soul.
