He sighed, but grinned at her. "With a job like mine, it is hard to relax, but I'll take your word for it." he said, pulling away from her and calling his goons. "He owes me money, and I'll probably just take his life instead." The Joker lead Jinx and his goons down a back alley, following a tracker an accomplice of his had given placed on the man earlier that morning. Coming upon a haggard it looking man, the Joker grinned wildly. "Robert Payne, were you ever planning on giving me back what you owe me?"

Aori followed Robert down a back alley, and she was about to confront him when she heard footsteps behind her. Melting into the shadows, her blue eyes widened as she watched the Joker walk by. 'It's him...' she thought, her eyes narrowing as a growl threatened to spill from her throat.

Jinx smiled when they got to the guyd house het eyes had a small bit of red arua around them she stayed jud bearly behind jay since he was after all was the leader. Her power was not only linked to music and being able to alm the insane mind of the joker. She was also good at hacking eas flexible but her real power was that she could turn people into living face cards human size or actual face card size but also could trap people's souls in a card any kind then could control them while she had their soul in a card. But of course that part took a lit of energy out of her. But she just smiled standing just behind jay she wouldn't use her power unless he told her to.

He had caught view of the alley where The Joker, Jinx, Robert Payne and Aori were. He had noticed Aori was there before she had blended into the shadows. He took in a deep breath as he watched the scene play out from a roof next to the alley. His eyes landed on Jinx, he had never met her before but he had heard about her before. He then looked at Robert Payne. He had met that guy before. Then he looked at The Joker, now Johnny may be a anti-hero, more of a bad guy now, but he did not like The Joker. With his time running with Batman, Johnny had the pleasure of spending hours of tracking him, fighting him, and trying to ruin his plans. So, no matter what he was not fond of The Joker. Johnny took out a smoke bomb, getting ready to throw it and interfere with everything.

Crane slept uneasily, although the pain was no longer there he felt as if it was. Nothing could wake him now as he slipped into rem sleep. his body twitched as the dreams came on and on. You could only imagine the horrors he saw while this madman slept.

"I believe you owe me something, Mr. Payne." the Joker said smoothly, walking up to the frightened man. He absolutely enjoyed the looks on peoples faces when they were in complete and utter despair and terror. That's one of the reasons why the Joker liked being a villain, among many other things. Robert Payne looked incredibly frightened at this particular moment as he shook his head and pleaded for his life.

"No Mr. Joker, I don't owe you anything. Remember, I paid it off in full." he begged, but the Joker was hearing nothing of it. Pulling out a gun he simply shot straight through the man's heart, turning back around to face Jinx.

"That my dear, is how you settle something peacefully." he said grinning like a maniac that he was. "Oh, by the way, I do believe we have a visitor, if not two."

Aori chose this time to fuse out of the wall and assess the situation. "Joker. There was a better place for him in the police department, instead of in the ground." she growled lowly, pulling out her kunai and assuming a fighting position.

"What a pleasant surprise, Miss. Senshi!" the Joker laughed maniacally, before his face suddenly grew serious. "I was beginning to wonder bringing two body bags was a mistake." Looking at the hero and assessing her, he grinned. "Jinx? Be a darling and take care of her, will you?"

Aori's eyes flicked back to the only female among the Joker's party, and her body tensed, preparing for a fight. She hadn't exactly fought Jonx before, but she read her list of powers from the police department evidence section. She could only hope she could stand her own.

He jumped slightly when The Joker suddenly just flat out shot Robert. He shouldn't have been surprised but in some ways he was. Clenching his teeth he watched Aori make her entrance, listened to them talk and what not before he finally jumped in. He slipped down onto a fire escape and quietly made his way down it. As he got the the bottom he threw the smoke bomb. The moment it landed on the ground the alley started to fill with smoke. He jumped down onto the ground and walked toward The Joker, "You're mine," he growled, trying to grab The Joker by the shirt and slam him against a wall.

He gently held his masters hand. Crow wanted to help him feel better like this sometimes hr was the only one that could. "Its ok master its just me" he whispered as he held his hand to remind him he wasn't alone. Crow then just softly said to him it was ok and thst he was right there eith him and that he wasn't going anywhere.

Sweat beaded across Crane's forehead. He felt Crows hand but he didn't recognize it as Crows hand, even if it was familiar.

He sighed he knew this would hurt himself s lot but crow was going to take cranes fear. His eyes went blsck as he started toabsorb and take away the unsteadyness in his mind this made crow feel like he was burning from the inside out. But crane was like his father to him he didn't want him to feel the way he was he wanted ti be of help.

Crane felt weird as he opened his eyes and felt... nothing. His fear was completely gone which surprised him to no end.
