Gilbert looked at the envolope and swatted slightly at the owl. He sighed, the envolope was smuggle made, sent by his legal guardians who were Squibs. He loved his family, but he wished he'd get a letter from his Mum or Dad. "You did well Grisil, now go get some rest" the owl hooted happily before leaving to go sleep. He opened the envolope and with drew it's contents. A rather flashy birthday card, and a thick looking letter. Gilbert gave it a fond smile.

Alek got up, face flaming, from where he had tripped. He hurried out of the hall, paying no attention to the owls who were now dropping packages and letters for the students. He had received a letter yesterday, he knew there would be nothing for him. entering the Hufflepuff common room, he heard towards the door that led to his dorm, planning to start packing for the QWC.

A familiar brown barn owl sat on her toast. She frowned at him, and took the now jam-covered letter off his leg.
Dearest Attie,
I wish to talk to you about your current school. While I know you enjoy it, I request that you come home for all of the holidays. Your sister would like to speak to you about some important matters.

P.S- I do hope this got to you alright, your mother's owl doesn't care for me as much as I hoped. I think it might be because I'm a 'muggle', as you call it.

Sighing, Alek exited the Hufflepuff dorms, he had finished packing in preparation for leaving to go to the QWC. Taking the stairs that led out of the basement two at a time, heading towards the Clock Tower. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, Alek crossed the courtyard that lay at the base of the tower, nodding at the few students who were scattered around.

Aurum sat on the steps inside the clocktower, adjusting her tie. She tugged it back into place, pausing to wave goodbye to a blushing girl as she ran down the steps. She heard the door close, and stood up, cracking her back with a grunt. She stood up, looking around for her discarded robe. She managed to find it a few steps down, and pulled it on. She picked up her bag, and swung it over her shoulder, climbing up to the next landing, where she sat down, and pulled out her divination textbook.
