Skai purred on her shoilder and jumped on the table in front of the boy.

"It's nothing. New school jitters, maybe." Gilbert gave a nervous chuckle, hoping she'd assume he transferred, but he was absolutely sure she was in all of his first year classes. How could he explain being sixteen and only a first year?

she gestured to the long table, where all the older kifs were leaving.

Gilbert inwardly groaned. "Actually. . .um . . ." he scratched the back of his head, chuckling nervously. He looked to the side his face flushed slightly pink.

"Are you Gilbert, by any chance?" She interrupted, hoping to spare his awkwardness. Her mother worked at the Ministry, and she had heard about a first year who was older than usual.

"Uh. Yeah, I'm Gilbert. Gilbert Trepè." He nearly whispered. The albino was no longer embarrassed, but was more nervous. He had attempted to stay 'under the radar', but it seemed he had failed. It wasn't that he didn't get along with people, no he was a proper gentleman, it was the accident. It caused him to almost lose all of his memories, and nearly killed him. Then there was the rehabilitation, the long months of learning to recognize his own family, to read and write, to speak, and to even walk. He shuddered inwardly at the memories, and attempted to hide the look of loss on his face, he'd pulled through, his parents hadn't. There was no hope for them anymore.

The younger girl looked at him inquisitively, and smiled.
"Welcome to Hogwarts." She said. She didn't ask questions; she herself had been late to Hogwarts, as she had first gone to an all girls school.

Gilbert bowed his head slightly, as a gesture of thanks. He was sitting rather curled up, as if slightly scared, but he just looked really nervous. He was about to get up when the mail arriaved, his red eyes scanning the flock of owls for his own, Grisil. He smiled spotting the familiar eagle owl as it dove from the others to land on the Albino's arm; raised up for the owl. The owl dropped the envolope into Gilbert's hand before sitting on his shoulder to affectanatly nip at his ear.

Asia raised her eyebrow at the two. they were quite unusual.they look like they had known each other for years, but they obviously haven't since Gilbert was a first year, although he didn't look it.
