Pierce looked back at Jack lightly, he really wanted to continue the "fight" if you could call it that but wasn't sure if it was the right time.

Jack raised an eyebrow. "An attitude like that shouldn't really be accepted in such strict regime," he said.
"They made an exception." Kya growled.

Pierce looked over to Kya, seemed like Jack struck a nerve. "And why's that...?" he asked slightly curious even if he didn't show it.

"You want to know? Sunshine?" Kya stopped in her tracks. "Shot. Stabbed. Tortured. Orphaned after a car crash only I survived. Ditched. Left for dead. Mugged." She said. "So yeah. Thy made an exception."

Pierce stayed quiet for a few minutes before muttering, "Sorry..." he looked to the right trying not to make eye contact with her.

"Just stay out of territory you don't know." Kya grumbled.

Pierce nodded lightly, he should have just shut up and kept his mouth shut.

Jack wrapped an arm around him, smiling reassuringly. "It could've happened to anyone," he said softly.

"No, I was being stupid and pried to deep..." Pierce said with a sigh, "It's part of my stupid personality..."
