Kari looked a little stunned as she watched Derek freak out at Jasmine and it took her a moment to respond when he spoke to her. "Um... yeah," she replied, unlocking the door and stepping out- holding it open for Derek. She hadn't expected him to get quite as snappy but it was understandable. After all, a lot had just happened so it was natural for a bit of stress. "It shouldn't be far from here," she added softly. "At least there shouldn't be anyone out at this time to stress you even further."

Rachel knocked on the door gently then came in "stiles? " she asked getting next to him he looked like he was having trouble "stiles try to relax and listen" she said taking her flute from her belt as she started to play the same calming tune thst she used to play fir him when he was little. She was . Hoping this would help him gtet control.


Jasmine understood but it was hard not being close to the one person that she ever trusted. (Sorry wouldn't have her this way if someone played scott or laim and at least one of ny character's had a crush/bf) she just felt so week and helpless. She had decided when they were little thst her only reason fir living was to be of help to Derek but she felt like she was failing.

He did not feel very comfortable about all of this. While he trusted Jasmine that she could keep herself from danger normally, he felt unsure about it right now, she was hurt and had just woken up from passing out after all. The other guy who had came in through the window he did not trust for five cents, like seriously, the dude had never talked to any of them before and now he just broke in from the window and started walking around in here. No, Elias was afraid that if Jasmine's father came for them, he would be fighting the Alpha alone.

Derek stepped outside through the door Kari held open. He grabbed his sunglasses from the pocket of his jacket and slid them over his face. At least this way they would block out the sun and hide his eyes. Once they were a good distance away he finally began to speak again. "Well I probably look like a jerk. I just can't take the clinginess! I've been on my own for years. Even when Laura was alive we still weren't together all the time. I just have a hard time even trusting those that were close to me after Peter's little tirad. Anymore it's just better that I keep everyone at a distance. That seems to be safer for everyone around me also. That added in with I think she wants to be more then friends and honestly I don't know if I even see her that way. And why am I telling you this?" He ranted shaking his head in disapproval of himself.

Kari listened to him carefully, letting the door close once he was out. She let him talk, knowing he probably needed it. She kept her eyes elsewhere, trying to empathise as much as she could. "Everyone needs someone to talk to, Derek. And, right now, I'm the best candidate for you. I hardly know you, meaning I don't have opinions over any of your relationships with people, I'm not exactly the kind of person to go blabbing things around and being here in Beacon Hills isn't exactly a permanent thing. That's why you're telling me all this." She gave him a smile and nudged him slightly. "Not talking to people and bottling things up can make people go crazy." It wasn't until then that her words sounded hypocritical. Well, perhaps she had gone crazy.
