Kari glanced back at Ender. "Hey, maybe you can help? There's a guy in there torturing someone and she needs help." Then her eyes moved to the door as she heard the voice. After a full sweep of the building, she noted that the front seemed the only way inside. Looking at Derek, she gave a sigh. "Looks like we go in the way he wants us to," she grumbled, placing one of the throwing knives between her teeth as she pulled one of the bags from her pocket. Once she'd taken back the throwing knife, she opened the door and entered calmly.

Derek waited as patiently as possible for Kari to return with the verdict. "Of course there is no other way in" he sighed releasing his palms from his nails. "Let's get this over with" he muttered stepping in behind Kari. The coppery smell of blood mixed with dust and the smell of hospital drifted through the air causing Derek to snarl up his nose in disgust. As he looked further into the dimly lit area he saw Jasmine with a man standing over her.

"Finally you come" said the man holding jasmine who was shaking. "Well see what I mean beast he doesn't care he's not worried if he was he wouldn't freak out, if he loved you he wouldn't be so slow to react" he smirked. Jasmine just stood there she wondered how worried he really was.

Kari moved a little closer to Derek to mumble, "You get her and I'll distract." Then she moved away again and began skirting around the lab, pretending to be interested in the things on the desks before hopping up onto one of the more sturdy looking ones. "So you're an alpha who kills alphas, hm?" She asked. "Well, I have to say, I've never met anything quite as ugly as you. Oh, actually, is that your human form?" She studied her blade absently before placing it on the desk next to her and turning her attention to the bag in her other hand.

Derek nodded in response to Kari's plan. As she went one way he went the other. He was careful to keep his eye on both Jasmine and her father. He was waiting for Kari to distract the brute so he could slip in and save Jasmine.

"Oh did I mention I poisoned her with some wolfsbane from my blades" he smirked "I could care less what you think girlly I only came here to make this beast life unbearable. after all no one could ever truely love her. Did you know Derek she loves you that's why she came back and yet she doesn't realize that you would never care for her like thatx so foolish isn't she?" He smiled as jasmine started crying from his cold words

(( Okay for those wondering what Sara's foxfire aura must look like, in other words her version of the firey aura Kira had it looks like this: but of course in the shape of a fox and see through

God i hope to have Sara run into Jasmine's dad.He definitely deserves some kitsune style buttwhooping.Hmmm perhaps use the poison element to make him suffer))

Kari rolled her eyes. "Oh, dude, you'd better start caring about what I think. Right now I'm holding rather a good set of cards and I'm ready to play," she snapped. Then she looked at Jasmine. "Toughen up and stop crying. You really think he's going to kill you? If he was then he would have done it already." Her eyes slid back to the girl's father. "So, I was wondering, are all of your senses better because of that power you have? I mean, how far can you see and smell and stuff? Must be pretty damn good, right?" She really wasn't worried about the wolfsbane that Jasmine had in her system. No wolfsbane came without a cure and she was positive she'd have the species of plant at home or actually on her person.
