Core of Night (Apocalyptic Roleplay)

"Survive..." Alfa said softly. He could feel his processor whirring in his head. It never occurred to him that he was 'surviving'. Data raced to and fro within him. Bits and pieces of some memory tried playing out in his head, but the video largely was static. He scoffed. He stayed against the wall, silently waiting for a command.

Axel stared him down for a moment before sighing. "Well, we should be safe in here. If you want just pick up a book or something." He smiled slightly and moved to the door and took aim, looking around outside.

Zero shrugged and slipped into the kitchen. "Want something to drink? We have some sodas and water bottles...but its not exactly that cold." He smiled.

"I'll have water." Sophia says, getting up off the soft and following Zero to the kitchen. She slides her arms around his chest when he leans down to get the water and she hugs him gently, a content smile on her face.

Silver took out his gun and cocked it "What weapons do you have on you?"

Zero chuckled and grabbed himself a water as well while craning his head over to the side and pecking her head. He closed the useless fridge when they both had a drink.

Axel began to tune the two out while he carefully laid down on the ground, reloaded, and fired. This time he didn't suffer from any recoil due to proper use of the weapon. He wasn't sure who Silver had been asking really.

Alfa perked up. "This is a piece of wood I found the day I was created. I found some iron strips that I wrapped around the lower part to fashion a better grip. I know how to use all sorts of weapons but I prefer my fists or my bat." He searched around the place for book to scan through.

Silver smiled "That's very impressive. He took out another book and flipped through it "How old are you?"

Axel quietly listened as he reloaded again and waited with a small sigh for another unfortunate mutant to cross his path. His mind and attention began to go back to the other two males.

Alfa stopped, the lights in his eyes flashed for a second. His tone of voice suddenly sounded more like a computer than ever, no where near his normal, deep tone. "The data is class..... Corrupted. The data is corrupted. Error 3675409." He shook a little, his normal voice came back, "I apologize. I can't access that information."

Sophia takes the water bottle from Zero, releasing him from the hug as she leans back on the counter. She unscrews the lid and takes a generous gulp before replacing the lid and setting the bottle next to her.
