Core of Night (Apocalyptic Roleplay)

Suddenly a mutant grabbed Silver from behind "Ah! Let me go!" He struggled against it's grip. Something about it was different than other mutants.

Alfa heard what sounded like the beginnings of a confrontation inside the building, and quickly stepped inside to see if he could help.

Axel was about to say something when Silver was suddenly attacked. "Silver!" He shouted, body going on auto piolot as he immediately whipped his gun up and peered through the scope. He growled and fired, hissing when the butt of the gun smacked his shoulder in its recoil.

Rose shuddered in fear as she slowly stumbled her way through the dark, nearly empty streets. Her eyes glowed slightly in the gloom, making one of the only breaks in the darkness. She jumped slightly when a frail cat hissed and growled, knocking over a few trash cans. She had only been dropped off in the new world the previous day when the helicopters had flown through. She wasn't ready, that's what she kept telling herself. She was just wanting to find someone she was familiar with and prayed they recognized her through her change in appearance or at least someone nice...and not a mutant trying to murder anything in their path.

Silver fell to the ground, the mutant dead. "Thanks..." He noticed someone else was here also "Who are you?"

Axel rubbed his shoulder and immediately shut his left eye while lowering his gun, looking over to the second male. He tilted his head slightly, grip still on his weapon just in case.

Adare:
Adare stumbled through the streets taking a deep breathe.She always liked the night, mother moon shining down on here.the moon had been like a second mom to her.She heard trash cans knocking over and became very still.

Alfa did his best to make a coughing sound to announce his presence without seeming threatening. "Hello." He began sizing up the people in the room, analyzing their weapons, seeing who would be the weakest and strongest link in the group in case things got difficult.

Alfa spoke slowly and clearly, "I am Alfa Romeo. I am no more a threat to you than you are to me. Do you need assistance?"

Rose shuddered and looked around, then spotted a figure. Automatically she got into a fighting stance but quickly dropped it and cowered in fear. She swallowed and called out:"W-whos there?"

Axel sighed, grip loosening on the large rifle in his hand. "Hello," he gave a kind smile and kept a hand on his shoulder now. He glanced him over for a moment, unsure what to do or say.

Adare clenched her scythe not trying to seem to alarming...this voice didn't sound like it was out to kill.."I-i'm Adare, who are you?"
