Her necklace was, by far, her most favorite necklace. It hung around her neck on its gold chain, proudly nestled amongst other gold chains, and looked absolutely stunning, or so she thought, admiring it in the water.

Grumbling, Sollux put one earbud in his ear, accessing his (mostly illegal) song database. His music selection was extensive only because it was the complete music list of some large online music database or another--really quite easy to hack into, he thought with a snicker. If they had wanted to better protect their music from an anonymous hacker, then they should have tried harder.
His soulmate charm was attached to his phone, dangling from the bottom of it rather carelessly.

Dave stuffed his phone back in his pocket along with his hands, turning the song up a bit louder. He rolled his shoulder, and continued his walk, turning a corner and running right into someone. He cursed under his breath and stumbled back, looking up at who he had bumped into, literally. (said person being Sol *cough*)
